establishmmt on Greg .Altees family
farin, a few miles south ofthe village, to
its present location on , the edge of
Lucknow, eicoMpaosing 12 acres of land.
Following graduation from the Univer-
sity of Guelph _in 1970, Greg spent two
Years in the *nOmping and horticultural
inclustly with one of Ontario's premie.re
landscape eomnaniea. Greg's routes are
Orally Wretched in Huron County .suil
and in 1977 he established Huron Land-
seaping Limited on * family's farm. In
1980, Greg and hitt ;wife, Maxine,
relocated the business to its 'present
location. - * •
In 1987, the 'Agouti their
business dramatically, with the addition of
a large, two storey retail outlet, and fur-
ther acquisition of land.

namental and calpier trees and shrubs.
In 1989, due to the increasing popularity
and demand„ they added perennials,
ground covers, bedding plants and hang-
ing baskets to their inventory.

automated irrigation system was install
ed in 1909.: This is set up with time clocks
to apply water in the evenings, when
there is less evaporation. •
Computer technology arrived on the
scene at Huron Landscaphig in 1990 with
the addition of a New Image Design.

First of the week, Monday and time for
the news copy for this weeks paper,- What .
is the news? Well, last evening at a few
minutes to two this morning, the lights
dimmed off without warning. It was Witt
Four steps and we were back in the near-
by bed cot and stayed there till morning.
What was the cause? We do not know.
There was no news about it on the readio. .
After yesterday , afternoon's experience.
we were not for going.pa.st the front door.

their family we got thereabout five in the
afternoon, after a couple of hours outside
home next door to the Royal Bank. Sincere
thanks to the Goulding families- for their
help. We are up and away today.' One of

Julie Bonnett was glad to see her name
in the Grey -Bruce T.V. Facts magazine on
page 12 as the winner of Easter goodies.
Julie is the youngest of three sisters, Julie,
Heather and, Donna all attending the
Ripley District School.
Carol ,Fludder recently returned from
South Africa and a visit with her daughter
Tammy was here showing pictureswith
them together. She also had some picture
of London, England where she stopped on
her way back. home. • •
