All the goals of the game were scored in the second period. Chris Stevenson opened the scoring for Lucknow on u pale from Austin Murray. Thirty seconds later Brad Rhody scored as Stevenson put his own rebound onto Rhod3r's stick.„ Stevens netted hi* second or the 1404 when he shot (lint Murray's rebound in. West Lome fought hack all the way, but Ludmow held then down for the third. In the return match Saturday in Weat Lorne the teams skated to a6-6 tie with a 10 minute overtime peried. This was the most exciting game of the season, with both teams pulling all stoppers. Weat Lorne loomed large as they net- ted • the first two goals putting Lucknow down 2 - 0. right away. Clifford scored a goal in each. period while the best Lucknow could do was a goal by Eon Moffat for a' final score of Clifford 3 - Lucknow 1. The team travelled to Clifford on March16knowing that they had tow in or their season was over. With a, huge ef- fort from netminder Jordan Andrew and an overall team effort the boys skated off with a well earned 2 - 1 victory. There was no scoring until the third period' when Ean Moffat netted one at 10:33 .to take a 1 - 0 lead. Clifford tied the game at 8:06 of the third and at 7:44 Jonathan MacKinnon scored .the game -winner to take the series to a fifth and deciding game. - 1. . • On Sunday March 18 Lucknow Novice A's travelled to Clifforcrfor the deciding game in the series. Clifford scored one goal in each period for a final score of Clifford 3 - Lucknow 0. Lucknow skated hard all night but couldn't put the puck past the' Clifford goalie. In the second game Lucknow met Teeswater and with a steady perfor- mance from Jordan Andrew in goal and the defence they shutout Teeswater 1 - • Scoring the loan goal was Craig ,Moffat assisted by Jonathan MacKinnon. The Teeswater goalie had a superb game • stopping shot after shot and keeping his team in the game. Teeswater pulled their goalie in the last minute but couldn't get the tie goal.
