Five Star Quilt Five Star gainers Guild met on February 28 at the Lucknow Town Hall. Sharon. Stein presided and Lorna Lang gave the rollcall. Thirty-one ladies replied stating something they would like to do as a member of the guild next year, or a project using scrap. 4. • 4 Tickets are on sale for two quilts made by the members. The Drop In Centre held their shoot and bridge party on March 9. High for bridge was Catherine Andrew and low was Jean Whltby. High lady for shoot was Doirs MacKin- non, high man Wesley Young, low lady Edna Young, low man Andy Scott, most shoots Harry Wall. The St. Helens W.I. shoot party had 10 tables of players. Prizes went to high lady, Donalda Moffat; high gent, Jim Finnigan; second high lady, tied Shirley Hunter and Dorothy Anderson with Dorothy winning the draw; low score Shirley Hackett and most shoots Jim Finnigan. ers Kits for quilt blocks are available to be returned to the guild after the agriculture - fairs. Doris Bushell demonstrated drafting the Stain Glass Window, and the finishing and quilting of this wall hanging. Six inch aunt blocks were donated for a relief quilt.
