the pupils enjoying the March break from
echool - the nujdot week ofthe year.
Jim and Dorothy Bain have returned
from a two -we* hcJld.y in Florida.
Birthday wishes go out this week to
Sarah Jean Scott who will be 90 on
March 17 and Mined* Wyld 95 on March
20. Both these ladies are residents of
Pinecrest Manor and we offer our con-
gratulations to them. -
Vieiting for the week -end with Ken and

Joyce and Bill Shepherd and Josh .of
Camlachie.
Margaret Henderson and Mary Pattin-
son of Toronto spent the weekend with
Reti. Bill and Peggy Henderson.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cook were
honoured on two occasions recently, it be-
ing Peter's 80th birthday on March 2.
FamilY from, Goderich entertained them
to a dinner at the Mayfair Restaurant.
• Their immediate family held another din-
ner and gifts and cards were received.
Five Star Quilt
Five Star gainers Guild met on
February 28 at the Lucknow Town Hall.
Sharon. Stein presided and Lorna Lang
gave the rollcall. Thirty-one ladies replied
stating something they would like to do
as a member of the guild next year, or
a project using scrap.

Tickets are on sale for two quilts made
by the members. One draw will be at
Lucknow Craft Festival and the other at
Teeswater Five Star gainers' Guild Show

Mr. and Mrs. Cook extend their best
wishes to all who were so kind them.
The Drop In Centre held their shoot
and bridge party on March 9. High for
bridge was Catherine Andrew and low
was Jean Whltby.
High lady for shoot was Doirs MacKin-
non, high man Wesley Young, low lady
Edna Young, low man Andy Scott, most
shoots Harry Wall.
The St. Helens W.I. shoot party had 10
tables of players. Prizes went to high
lady, Donalda Moffat; high gent, Jim
Finnigan; second high lady, tied Shirley
Hunter and Dorothy Anderson with
Dorothy winning the draw; low score
Shirley Hackett and most shoots Jim
Finnigan.

Kits for quilt blocks are available to be
returned to the guild after the agriculture
- fairs.
Doris Bushell demonstrated drafting the
Stain Glass Window, and the finishing
and quilting of this wall hanging.
Six inch aunt blocks were donated for
a relief quilt.
The next meeting on March 28 will be
at Teeswater Town Hall and will be on
drafting a pattern.' •
