ty plan. Clerk Armstrong advised the

ter tending to minor points.
Six applications had been received in
response to the advertisement for a per-
son to serve as drainagesuperintendent
and building inspector. Aftr lengthy
deliberation, council instructed the clerk
to contact two applicants to arrange an
interview.
Special Session
A special meeting of council took place
on Feb
13 to complete business re-
maining from
the regular meeting.
Following individual interviews, council
voted in favour of accepting the applica-
tion of Joe Hanna of West Wawanosh to
fill the position of drainage superinten-
dent and building inspector, for a proba-
tionary period of six months. Mr. Hanna
will be required to attend the Drainage
4Superintendents' Course, conducted by
OMAF, teldng place in Waterloo in

paid by the municipality.

make application for the Maintenance
Grant and grant to cover the cost of
employing a drainage

service linea in the St. Helens area, was
approved,
Bylaw 4-90 was passed authorizing the
reeve and clerk to sign an agreement

residences.
The township will be advertising for a
person to count the dogs and sell dog
tags in the township for the year 1990.
Landfill site supervisor Robert
McAllister received an increase in
remuneration, effective January 1, 1990,
from $8.50 to $10.00 per hour.
