Friday in Wiarton Andy Grazier unleashed a blistering shot from the point to put the Lancers up by one but Wiar- ton came back minutes later to tie the score. Steve Simpson and Steve MacPher- son added one each for the Lancers as the first period ended 3 - 1. The Lancers were lucky to have a 4 -- 3 lead after the second period with net - minder Ray Guay coining up with several good saves for the Lancers. Brad Priestap's goal for the Lancers was the ... only bright spot in the second. Wiarton kept the int‘e, up in the third with two more goals to take a 5 - 4 lead but Grant Gilchrist pulled the Lancers even again.
