Parents are asked to bring Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate and proof of Immunization. OMMB elects •new chairman • John Core became the fourth Chain= in the 24 -year histay of The Ontario Milk Marketing Board when he was elected to that poA at a special meeting of the Board held here today. Peter Oosterhoot was elected as the new Vice -Cairn. Mr. Core served as Vice -Chairman of the Board ince the summer of 1006, hav- ing served since 1901 as an elected member representing milk producers in Lambton, Middlese]c, Kent and Essez counties (terms normally last four years). As a member of the OMMB, Mr. Coe serves on the Federal Dairy Task Force, is a director of Dairy Farmers of Canada and sits on the Canadian Milk Supply Vhalalgelnellt Committee. He is a past director of the Ontario Dairy Herd Im- provement Corporation. • Mr, Core and two brothers milk about 70 Holsteins on the 600 -acre farm near Wyoming in Lambton County. • Vice -Chairman Peter Oosterhoff was. first elected to the Board in 1975 and is in his fourth term representing milk pro- ducers in the cotuttlee of Wentworth, Niagara North, Niagara South, Heidi - mend and Brant. He is Second Vice - President of Dairy Farmers of Canada, has 4erved on the Advisory Committees for/Milk' Cheese and Transportation as well asa number of other Board committees. Mr. Oosterhoff, along with his family, milk about 50 Holsteins on their 400 -acre farm near Beamsville .Ontario. The election followed an announcement • at the Board's Annual Meeting by J. Grant Smith that he would not seek re- election for a fifth term as Chairman. Mr. Smith had served as Chairman since 1906, been Vice -Chairman since 1977 and . served on the Board since 1968.
