Mrs. Morrow grew up in Clinton. She is
our school resource teacher here a
.Brookside. ' She has taught grades
Kindergarten, grade 1, grade 7, and
grade. 8, resource teacher K-8, and

ing on dinosaurs. Nutrition has also been
a focus in our room. We now eat very.

In our classroom we are tacking about
birds. E'verycne in the class had fun say-
ing the cheer. On Feb. 13 it is Bradly
Pasamore's birthday. Also on Feb. 25 it
is B.J. Tideaawell's birthday. We bet
everyone in the class is looking forward
to Valentines Day.

We have started our hockey unit. We
have learned about the history of the
game and the beginnings of the National
Hockey League. We talked about the
Swift Current Bronco;.- a team that over -
Came a terrible tragedy. and went on to
win tine Memorial Cup. Finally, thank -you
to. Dave McLlwaitt and Dave's mother for
the loan . of his sweaters, sticks and

the terraced fields in India. Ira Math we
are studying closed figures called
polygons. We aretalking about.drugs and
how they affect us in .Health. We are do-
ing experiments in Science on cans,
balloons, balls, and paper airplanes to
learn how to"perform a fair eitperiment..

We 'are all missing Debbie Delberque
this week 'and hope • her stay. in the
hospital at `London will soon be over.
On February 1. the volleyball tourna-
ment in Goderich took most of our class.
Mr. Cober called it "Nintendo Day" and'
the 10 remaining students got to play
Nintendo games for part of the day.
