Dene Mae Dahmer
Doreen Mao Daae', of noir*, paw-
ed away in the K -W Hospital, Kitchener
on Monday, January 1,1!10 at the age of
04,
The former Doreen. Millar was born in
Winnipeg,, fa�talarr on November 1935
to Herh► Nem 1Pannphileon) Miller.
Mrs. Doh' is survived by her hus-
band, John of Ebnira (formerly •of
Lucknow; her mother, Nellie Miller;
, Trish and her husband, Bert
of Ebnire .and a son, Shawn ;and
his Kathy Dah ner of Durham.
She is also survived by two sisters,
Pat, Mrs. Bruno duan of London, Ed-
na, Mrs. Joe Taskonia of Barrie; four
grandchildren, Bradley Golding and
Mary, Laura and Michel Dahmer.
Mrs. Dahmer was predeceased by. a
son Michael in 1975 and her father, Herb
Miller.

where Rev; G. McFarlane of the
Lucknow United Church, conducted the
funeral service on January 4.

Scott Douglas Needham
Scott Needham of London died suddenly
at his residence on 'January 2, 1990, at
the age of 23 years.
Mr. Needham was the dearly loved son
of Gordon and Patricia '(Foran)
Needham; dear brother of Dale and
Brent, both of London and dear grandson
of Art and Isabel Young df Dungannon
and the late Orville and Ruth Needham
and the late Elmer Foran.

Wednesday, January 3 and on Thursday,
January 4 at the MacKenzie and
McCreath. Funeral Home," Lucknow.
Family prayers were held in the funeral
home, Lueknow, that evening.
The funeral mass was celebrated • on
Friday„January 5, at' 11:30 °a.m. in St,,.
Augustine Roman Catholic Church, St.
Augustine by Father F. Dentinger,
Flower bearer was Laurie Jarvis.
Pallbearers. were Gerald Abbott, Tinct
Walker, Dan Monteith, Mark Scott, Ken
Hutchison, and Sandy Forbes. .

Rebecca Elliott
Rebecca Elliott passed away at
Pinecrest:Manor,Nursing Horne, Lucknow
on January 3, 1990. She was in her 99th
year. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Kin
cardine United Church and for many
4 years was employed` at the Kincardine
Hospital. ;
• Rebecca Elliott; the 'former Rebecca
Smith, was a daughter of the late Robert
and. Rebecca (Montgomery) Smith, and
was born in Huron Township on May 28,
1891 She was the last . surviving member
of her family.
She married Harry Elliott of Huron
Township, on June 23, 1923 in the Bethel
United Church.
Elliott is survived by her
daughter, Shirley,. Mrs. Willard Downey;
two grandchildren, Tom Downey of R. 3,
Holyreod and Mary Downey of Kitchener.
She was predeceased by her husband
Harry; six brothers and three sisters. •
Visitation was at the MacKenzie and
McCreath Funeral Home, ttatcknow, from
where the funeral service was held on
January 5. Rev, G. McFarlane of the
Lucknow United Church officiated.

retihtac of 11. 1, Lucknow, a
red farmer, passed away ,on
Decenmber 21, 1009 in London, in his 75th
year. Mr. MacMillan was a member of
the Lucknow United Church and The
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 309,
Lucknow.
He was born in West Wawanosh
Township on July 18, 1915, a son of the
late Philip and Isabel '(MacLeod)
,MacMillan.
Mr. MacMillan is survived by his wife,
the former Sadie Sinnamon,• a daughter,
Isabel and her busband Murray Wilkln,
R. 1, Ripley and a step - daughter, Dawn
and her husband; Richard Turnbull of
Landon. , .
He is also survived by ' his, sister,' Jean,
Mrs. Watt Willits of Wroxeter; four
grandchildren, Jeff, Lisa, Michael and
Jonathan Wilkin and two step -grandsons,
John and Mathew Webster;
Predeceasing him were his parents; hia
sister, Isabel, and two brothers, Bruce
and Archie.
• Visitation was at the MacKenzie and
McCreath Funeral Lucknow. Lucknow
Legion Branch 309 and the Ladies Aux-
iliary held a • service on Saturday, ,
December 23. The funeral service was
conducted at the funeral home by Rev,
G. McFarlane of the Lucknow United
Church, on December 24. The Lucknow
United Church choir sang accompanied
by Mr. Stickings.
Flower bearers were Mathew Webster,
Jonathan Wilton and Jerry Hertel.
Pallbearers were Mac Willits, Bruce .,
Willits,; Allan Willits, Murray Willits,
Robed Sinnamon and John” Sbtnamon.

Donald M. Mason
Donald M. Mason, 71, of 1141 iQueen
Street Kincardine, died December 19,
1989, at the Kincardine and District
Gene ' Hospital.. Death was caused by
'heart ` allure.
Mr. Mason was born June 3, 1918, in
Huron Township, son of Thomas Mason
and ora MacLeod.'
He married Annie Taylor in Toronto on
September, 25, 1943. They resided ,in,
Ripley until .1962, when they moved to
Kincardine...
Mr Mason is survived by has wife; son
Robert of Waterloo; two daughters,
Trudie Nelson of Kincardine and Brenda
Lauzon of Whitby; grandchildren Faye
Kirkconnell of Armow, Dawn Nelson of
• Atikokan, Robert and Paul Lemon. of
Whitby; great grandchildren, Craig,
Jason and Rachel Kirkconnell, of Arrow.
He was predeceased by two brothers,
Bert Mason -and Ardil Mason. A
Mr. Mason was a• member of the
United l Church, served with the 'Royal
Canadian Mr Force, and was a ' past
deputy;reeve of Kincardine.
He vies well 'known. for providing the
public. ,address system at Kincardine's
sing=s -longs and at area fall fairs.
Rev.. C. McClenaghan conducted the
funeral December 21, 1989 at• the Davey-
Linklater Funeral Home. • '
Interment Ripley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Floyd Johnston, Ar-
chie Speers, Jack Hartwick, Albert
Shewfelt, Norman Dunsmoor. and Oliver .
McCharles.
WMS and auxiliary amalgamate
The first meeting of the newly formed
group, the Lucknow Presbyterian
Women's Missionary Society, was held in
the church on January 3. This group was
formed by the amalgamation of the after-
noon WMS and the Evening Auxiliary in-
to one organization. ;
Mildred Loree opened the meetingwith
the poem, Mother Year ie Dawning, and
a prayer for the ;New Year.
Dorothy Brown presented the devotions
with thefresh Hebrew 4. She
spoke of the of the spreading
of the Gospel and tally of the work
of women in the New Testament.
The study for this year ' is on the
history of the WMS taken from the book,
A Lively Story,. and was capably in-
troduced by Elleda Laidlaw.
Evelyn Little reviewed the Glad
Tidings and Fern MacDonald presented
two readings on the new year..
The rollcallwas answered with a New
Year's thought. •
President,. Rhoda MacKenzie conducted
the business and correspondence. Follow-
ing
ollowing the closing hymn and prayer, the
social committee of Grace Gammie and
Shirley Hawthorne served lunch.'
