The greatest gift of alt
Hi ! I'm Jamy Twinkly. I'm three and a
half. My dad is the richest farmer ever
born. We always have a party on
Christmas. My dad says it's their present
to all. Today, as usual, I was being pushed
around and getting in the way. I am very
good at being a questioner my dad says. I
kept asking about a baby which drove
everyone up the wall. Finally, I found
Rachel the maid. She was the one who told
me about the baby, which was going to be
born in a barn. He was going to be born
with a bright thing about his head. I asked
Rachel to tell me more about the barn but
all she said was "Not now dear we have to
get ready for the dinner party". Then I
was shoved out of the way. I decided that if
no one would tell me more I would find the
baby.
I started walking in the snow, it was 10
below zero.I kept walking until I came to a
little village. I sat crouched in an alley
with three walls blocking the wind. I was
very warm. Later I heard some people
talking. This is what I heard.
In those days Caesar Augustustus sent
out a decree that the world should be
enrolled. All were to go to his own city or
town. Joseph was to go up from Gaililee to
the city of David which was Bethlehem.
Mary went with him because they were to
be married and Mary was with child.
While they were there Mary gave birth to
her first-born a son. She wrapped him in
swaddling cloths and laid him in the
manger because there was no room for
them in the inn. Near that region were
shepherds watching their sheep by night
when all of a sudden a angel of the Lord ap-

peared and filled them with fear. He said
"I bring good tidings of joy for a king has
been born in the town of Bethlehem, the ci-
ty of David. This will be a sign unto you,
you will find him in a manger in a stable.
Later they left their sheep and went to the
stable and worshipped Him, The K of
the Jews. That was all I remeber. ter
when I woke up it was snowing and freez-
ing. I started to cry when I heard someone
say "Morn -there's a baby outside crying".
A minute later I found myself sitting by a
fire drinking hot cocoa. They were asking
me questions about my family but, I
wasn't listening. I was looking at the little
baby on the floor. Could it be the baby they
were talking about in the story. Was it the
baby Rachel said would save us.
Finally I said, "Is that the baby in the
story with the shepherds?" They said,
"No, it is not because the baby already
came years upon years ago. Hi name was
Jesus. Here's a verse from the Bible to
prove my point, John 3:16, For God so lov-
ed the world he gave his only begotten son,
so whosoever believes in him shall not
perish but have everlasting life." By that
time I had realized Christmas isn't
presents but it is a king's birthday. I
stayed there a week and learned more
about this king.
After a week we finally found my
parents. The first thing I told my parents
was The Greatest Gift .of All is the King
born on Christmas `day°, Jesus.

It was a week before Christmas and all
of the children in the Snilth family were
getting ready for the big day. They were
wrapping gifts, mailing cards, writing let-
ters decorating the house and the tree, and
buying gifts. "Boy what a hassle". The
week rolled by fast so far now there is only
2 more days left until Christmas. It was
time for bed "Goodnight".
Mom and Dad were downstairs thinking
what to buy Joey, Jennifer, Jessie and
John. Mom said "I know what to get them
all" "What" said Dad "How about we get
them a, nah forget it". Mom and Dad went
to bed. The next day Jessie the youngest
wrote a note to Santa here is what it said:
Dear Santa i want a little pupie for
Chistmas please

that is what she wanted the most in the
