News from St. Augustine parish
St. Augustine Catholic Church News
The annual Christmas Party for the St.
Augustine Catholic Church plrich was
held Sunday evening, December 6, in the
church hall. The hall was decorated in
bright lights and festive trim with plently
of presents under the tree.
Many of . the children entertained by
singing, tap dancing or playing the piano.
Those attending were also favored by a
solo, a violin rendition with piano accom-
paniment and a poem by four of the adults.
The Christmas Story was enacted by the
children with Perry Como doing the
narrating.
The highlightfor the children was the
appearance of that jolly old gentleman
himself, Santa Claus. He had questions for
each of the children, as well as the adults,
and of course a present for each.
Following the visit with Santa,
refreshments were served.
