McInnes - Fraleigh
Carrie Leigh Fraleigh and Dale Joseph
McInnes were united in marriage on
August 15, 1987 in Trinity United Church,
Glencoe, with Reverend Robert Biggar
performing the ceremony. Carrie is the
youngest daughter of John and MariLynn
Fraleigh of Glencoe. Dale is the son of Dan
and Anne McInnes of Blyth, formerly of
Holyrood. Matron of honour was Linda
Cutler, sister of the bride and the
bridesmaids were Jennifer Bachur and
Terri -Lynn Jeffery, friends of the couple;
Charlene Mossop, cousin of the bride and
Nancy McInnes, sister of the groom.
Flower girl was Shayna Patterson a friend
of the couple. Bestman was Peter Simp-
son, friend of the couple. Ushers were Bob
McInnes, brother of the groom; David
Gillett, Perry Patterson and Jim Gillett,
all friends of the couple. Mikey Mueller,
friend of the couple acted as ringbearer. A
reception was held at the Glencoe
Agricultural Hall. Following their honey-
moon at a resort on the Bay of Quinte near
Picton, Mr. and Mrs. Dale McInnes took
up residence in Glencoe.
Margaret Irene Keane
Margaret Irene Keane, formerly of
Lucknow, passed away on November 8,
1987 at the Willows Estate Nursing Home
in Aurora. She was in her 87th year.
Margaret Keane was born in Ashfield
Township on February 7, 1901 to Mr. and
Mrs. Patrick Moran, She married James
Keane in 1929 at St. Joshep's Church in
Kingsbridge.
Mrs Keane is survived by by two
children and their families; Mrs. Robert
Currie and husband of London, and Roy
Keane and wife Marlene of Newmarket, as
well as grandchildren Brian and Arlene
Keane; Edward and Keith Currie; and
Linda Robbins of Mississauga and great
grandchildren Bill Currie and Lindsay
Robbins.
Margaret Keane was predeceased by
her parents, Patrick and Margaret Moran,
and her husband, James Keane.
A brother, Frank Moran, also
predeceased her.
Funeral services were conducted from
the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral
Home, Lucknow by Rev. Father Ed Den-
tinger of St. Mary's Church, Lucknow.
Flower bearers were grandaughters
Linda Robbins and Arlene Keane.
Pallbearers were Warren Zinn, Alvin
Moran, Keith Currie, Edward Currie,
Brian Keane and Jeff Robbins.
Father Ed conducted a graveside ser-
vice at Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
Albert J. Weames
Albert J. Weames of Wingham and
Peterborough died at Wingham and
District Hospital on Monday, November
16, 1987 in his 92nd year.
Mr. Weames was 50 years a Mason and a
member of the Royal Arthur Masonic
Lodge, No. 523, Peterborough.
Mr. Weames was the beloved husband of
the former Elsie (Anderson) Webb and
stepfather of Lois (Mrs. K.R. Grewar)
Londonderry, NH; Ruth (Mrs. D.J. Rose),
Markdale; Alison (Mrs. D.L. Gilmour)
Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Weames is also sur-
vived by seven grandchildren.
,He was predeceased by two brothers
William and Garnet.
Friends called at the McBurney Funeral
Home, Wingham from where the funeral
service was held on November 19 . with
Rev. J. Rea Gant officiating.
Interment later in Mt. Pleasant
Cemetery, LondPn.
Johanna Logtenberg
Mrs. Johanna Logtenberg, RR6
Goderich, died in- Victoria Hosiptal, Lon-
don, on Monday, November 9.
Mrs. Logtenberg was born in Zoutkamp,
The Netherlands to parents Jan and
Aprianna (DeVoogd) Broere. She was
married to Jacob Hoesktra who died in
1957. She is survived by her second hus-
band Gerritt Logtenberg.
Also suviving are her children, Mrs. Lois
(Anne) Vellenga of Mossley; Mrs. Albert
(Audrey) Gordon of London; Jenny
Kuiken of Acton; John Hoekstra and wife
Margaret of Hanover; step -children Mrs.
Tim (Alie) Reurink of Lucknow; Mrs.
Hendrik (Geertje) Veldman of the
Netherlands; Mrs. David (Lummie)
McGibbon of Kitchener; and Gerritt and
Diane Logtenberg of Port Albert and
brothers and sisters Anton Broere, Mrs.
Jan (Janna) Pol and Mrs. Neeltje Vander -
Veen; and many grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one brother,
Piet Broere.
The funeral and commital service was
held at Trinity Christian Reformed Church
in Goderich on Wednesday, November 11
with Rev. Harry Vriend officiating.
Organists was Mrs. Logtenberg's grand-
daughter, Joan Hoekstra.
Pallbearers were grandsons John, Ian
and Timothy Hoekstra; Louis Vellenga Jr;
Robert Rundle and Ronald Kuiken. Inter-
ment was in the Strathroy Cemetery.

KEITH -Wanda and Murray welcome with
love their third daughter, Christina Lynn,
born November 16, 1987 at the Goderich
hospital. Christina weighed in at 8 lbs, 101/2
ozs. Heartfelt thanks goes out to grand-
parents Audrey and Edward Linner of
Goderich and Margaret and Evan Keith of
Lucknow for taking care of big sisters
Sharon and Melissa.
ANSON - O'NEIL - Carolyn Anson and
Denny O'Neil of R. 7, Lucknow are happy
to announce the birth of their son, Nathan
Robert Kimbly, on November 11, 1987, in
Wingham and District Hospital. Nathan
weighed in at 6 lbs. 5 oz.
