The Father McCormack Council of the
Knights of Columbus held their regular
monthly ,meeting in the Parish Hall on
Tuesday evening, Nov. 17th. Following the
regular business meeting, during which
upcoming projects and activities were
discussed, Chaplain Father Ed Dentinger
made special mention of the upcoming
Pro -Life - Marian Year Adoration and Ho-
ly Hour on First Friday, Dec. 4th.
Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament
will begin at 3:00 p.m. and continueto
through to the Holy Hour which will con-
clude with Mass at 8:00 p.m. Father
strongly encouraged members of the
Knights to assist with their presence.
The St. Joseph's choir held their weekly
practice in preparation for the Christmas
season, Tuesday evening, Nov. 17th, as
well.
Canned goods and non-perishable food
are being gathered by the C.W.L. for
Friendship House in Goderich. These ar-
ticles are being collected in a box at the
back of the church. As well, clothing is be-
ing accepted for the St. Vincent de Paul
Society, also in Goderich.
Many of the Parish Community attended
KINGSBRIDGE
the annual Santa Claus Parade in
Goderich on Saturday, Nov. 21st. A
beautiful float featuring the Christmas
Nativity was entered by the Goderich &
District Pro -Life. Several members of
Pro -Life from the Parish Community
spent a great deal of time preparing the
float and are to be congratulated for a job
well done.
Father Ed again paid his weekly visit to
each of the classrooms on Wednesday, a
visit eagerly looked forward to by all.
School secretary, Mrs. Theresa Hickey,
can now boast a new desk and computer
centre to aid her in her work.
A book fair is now being conducted at the
school with the children having an oppor-
tunity to purchase books. Proceeds from
the fair will go towards buying some '
paperbacks for the school.
Hope he's home soon
Congratulations this week to Murray
and Wanda Keith on the recent arrival of
their new daughter Christina.
We are all hoping that little Michael
Maili will soon be home from London
hospital. He is in care at the Westminster
Campus.
The community extends its sympathy to
William and Ira Dickie and family on the
recent death of Ira's father.
Tom Downey enjoyed a weeks holiday in
Perterborough visiting with his aunt Fran-
cis Bollett. .
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Fisher on the birth of their baby boy,
