1987, at approxirnatley 9 p.m. at lot 20, con-

death of one doe and a small fawn. The two
deer were left and found on the morning of

Do you suspect that your days to market
are longer than what it could be in your
swine operation? According to the provin-
cial summary for the participants in the
Ontario Pork Industry Improvement Plan
it has been shown that many of us do take
longer (60 days on the average) to market
our livestock.
With this in mind, a seminar entitled
"Reducing Days To Market" has been
scheduled for Wednesday, December 2,
1987 at the Walkerton Knights of Columbus
Hall.
Some of the speakers include Dr. John
Deen, Dr. Bob Friendship, Dr. Ron Ball
(all associated with University of Guelph),
Franklin Kains, Agricultural Engineer,
Jim Morris, Ridgetown College and Cathy
Aker, Swine Specialist.
The cost is $20.00/person or $30.00/cou-
ple or second family member. If interested
please contact the Walkerton OMAF office
by November 27, 1987.
