MURRAY—MACKIE
The Lucknow Presbyterian Church was
the site of the October 17 wedding of
Marlene Dorothy Murray and Russell
Thomas Mackie. The ceremony was of-
ficiated by Rev. A.J. Ramsey.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and
Dorothy Murray, Lucknow. The groom,
from RR4 Wingham, is the son of Russel
Mackie and the late Gail Mackie of
Holyrood.
Margorie Hackett, Lucknow, acted as
the matron of honor for the bride while
bridesmaids included Jacky Murray,
Lucknow; Sharon Mackie, Holyrood; Con-
nie Anderson, Goderich; and Carrie Mur-
ray of Holyrood.
Standing up with the groom was
groomsman Brian Murray, Holyrood.
Ushers for the couple included Allan Mur-
ray, Lucknow; Reid Murray, Lucknow;
Paul Murray, Holyrood; and Geoff McCon-
nell of Tiverton.
The duties of flowergirl were handled ex-
pertly by Sheri Nicholson of Holyrood
while the ringbearer for the ceremony was,
Christopher Hackett, Lucknow.
Following the ceremony, the happy cou-
ple was on hand to greet guests at the
reception held at the Lucknow Community
Centre. After a honeymoon sightseeing
around Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Mackie have taken up residence at RR4

LAVIS - CAMPBELL
A quiet wedding ceremony took place on
Saturday, November 7, 1987 at the South
Kinloss Presbyterian Church when Rev. A.
Ramsey united in marriage Mary F.
Campbell of Wingham and Mr. James C.
Lavis of Lucknow.
A reception followed in the Bluevale
Con munity Hall for family and close
friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lavis are residing at
533 Rose Street, Lucknow.
MCMILLIAN - Kirk and Kathy of Gorrie
are pleased to announce the safe arrival of
their first child, Blake Richard, born
November 6, 1987 at 2:53 a.m. at the
Listowel Memorial Hopital. Proud grand-
parents are Ronald and Yvonne Pentland,
RR6 Goderich and great grandparents are
Harold and Helen MacPhee, Goderich.
CERSON-Hi! I'm Seana Leigh Cerson. I
finally arrived on November 4, 1987 at Vic-
toria Hospital, weighing in at 8 lbs. and
measuring 211/4 inches long. My proud
parents are Casey and Brenda Cerson of
Dorchester. I'm grandaughter number
three for Walter and Lorraine Arnold and
grandchild number ten for Clarence and
Jean Cerson, great-grandchild for Jim and
Vi Arnold and Remi and Angele Aneca and
gret-great-grandchild for Evelyn Arnold.
LIPPERT - Ann and Ed of R. 1, Lucknow
are pleased to announce the birth of their
son Christopher Robert, weighing 9 lbs. on
November 7, 1987 in Wingham and District
Hospital.
KOEHLER - Travis and Janet of RR5,
Brussels welcome with love their daughter
Tamara Ashley, born on November 5, 1987
in Wingham and District Hospital. Eight
pound Tamara is a sister for Amber and
Trevor. Grandparents are John and Marie
McIntpsh'and Bruce and Carol Koehler all
of R. 5, Brussels.
.CARRUTHERS - Garry and Marilyn are
pleased to announce the birth of their
daughter, Mackenzie Kitt, born October
29, 1987. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 ozs and is.
a wee sister for Michelle and Braden. Pro-
ud grandparents are Leo and Imelda Mur-
ray of Holyrood and Grace Carruthers of
Ripley.
BIM -F1 HENRY
Isabelle Henry, the former Isabelle
McLay passed away in the Wingham and
District Hospital on November 1, 1987, in
her 106th year. Mrs. Henry was a life long
resident of the village of Ripley having
spent her last five years in Pinecrest
Manor Lucknow.
She was predeceased by her first hus-
band Angus MacLean and her second hus-
band George Henry. Mrs. Henry was also
predeceased by one daughter Isabel, a son
John was killed- during World War II and
one son in infancy. Surviving is one son
Donald. MacLean and his wife Gwen of
Weston; as well as five grandchildren and
several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at the
MacKenzie -McCreath Funeral Home,
Ripley on Tuesday, November 3 with
Rev. Glen MacPherson of St. Andrew's.
United Church officiating.
Pallbearers were two grandsons Ian and
Scott MacLean and nephews Dan A. Mac-
Donald, Rod MacDonald and Carrick Loll-
ing. Flower bearer was Ross MacLennan.
Interment was in Ripley cemetery.
Nellie May Reid
Nellie May Reid of Walter Street in
Lucknow passed away on Sunday,
November 15 at the University Hospital,
London. She was 83 years of age.
Nellie May Reid was born to Dan and
Phoebe Kingsbury on November 7, 1904 in
Manor, Northwest Territories. She was
married to Bob Reid of Lucknow and was
an active member of the Lucknow
Presbyterian Church.
Nellie May Reid is survived by a
daughter, Wilda and husband Bob Parker
of Dorchester, and one son, Don and wife
Marilyn of RR3 Ripley. She is alsosurviv-
ed by her husand, Bob Reid; two brothers,
Bill Kingsbury of Calgary and Charles
Kingsbury of Alliston; six grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents,
Dan and Phoebe Kingsbury, formerly of
Lucknow, and one brother, Don Kingsbury
of Brantford.
Funeral services for the late Nellie May
Reid were held Tuesday, November 17
with Rev. A. Ramsay officiating at the
Lucknow Presbyterian Church. Mackenzie
and McCreath Funeral Home handled the
details. °
Pallbearers included Jack Parker,
David Parker, Kgvin Hodgins, Ed Husk,
Brian Reid and Larry Reid. A graveside
service was held with interment in the
Greenhill Cemetery.
