Pursuant to the Nursing Homes Act, notice is hereby
given of the intention of the Director, Nursing Homes
Branch, Ministry of Health, to renew the nursing
home licence of the following nursing home:

The public is invited to express opinions and make
recommendations concerning the proposed licence
renewal in written submissions fon/arded to:

Farm management course
FARM REPORT.
The Bruce County O.M.A.F. office will
again be offering an Introductory Farm
Financial Management Course. This year
we are offering it during the day in two
locations - Walkerton and Kinloss.
The Walkerton course will run from
10:00-A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Walkerton
0.M.A.F. boardroom, Tuesday, November
17th; Monday, November 23rd; Tuesday,
December 1st and 8th.
The Kinloss course will run from 10:00
A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Kinloss Communi-
ty Centre, Thursday, November 19th and
26th; December 3rd and 10th.
The main subjects are:
- Record Keeping - the blue Ontario Farm
Record Book is explained
- Preparing Financial Statements -
Balance Sheet, Accrual Income and Ex-
pense Statement, Cash Flow Statements.
This information is very useful when fill-
ing out OFFIRR applicatiop forms.
- Farm Planning and Budgeting
- Analysis of the Farm Business using
financial statements
Sources and Management of Credit
There is a $10.00 charge per family for
this course and we are suggesting that
both spouses attend if possible. Also, you
may have taken this course in previous
years - feel free to take it again as a
refresher or suggest it to a friend.
The instructors will be Terry James,
Mac Bolton and Scott Banks.

COW -CALF TRIPARTITE
STABILIZATION
Producers currently enrolled in the Cow -
Calf Plan, but have not yet forwarded their
1987 registration form and premiums are
reminded that the deadline is now
November 16, 1987. The current premium
is $7.70/head.
For established producers who have not
yet enrolled in the Cow -Calf Plan, have un-
til November 16,_1987 to do so and will be
subjected to the current late entry penalty.
With the current late penalty, a producer
will only receive 50 percent of the potential

After November 16, 1987, established
producers will be subjected to the new late
entry penalty as follows:
- 25 percent of potential payment in first
year following enrollment
- 50 percent of potential payment in second
year following enrollment
- 75 percent of potential payment in third
year following enrollment
- 1,00 percent of potential payment in the
forth and subsequent years.
Any producer submitting an enrollment
form after November 16, 1987 will not be
eligible to enroll for that year. Coverage
will take effect in the following year.
TRIPARTITE STABILIZATION FOR
COLOURED BEANS
The plan is for domestically produced
Dry Edible (Coloured) . Beans for both
domestic and export markets.
Support under the Plan is based on flte
guaranteed margin approach. The support
price for a year will be equal to: "The cash
cost of production in the current year plus
90 percent of the average margin in the
preceding seven years."
The margin for any year is equal to the
national average market price for the
year, minus the national average cash
costs in that year.
The stabilization payment for each
category of beans shall be equal to the dif-
ference between the support price and the
market price of that category for the year.
Payments will be based on the quantity of
eligible beans marketed by the par-
ticipating producer during the given year.
Subject to final approval, the 1987
premiums for Dry Edible (Coloured)
Beans are as follows:
- a) Kidney and Cranberry - $18.50/tonne
- b) X111 other Coloured Beans - $15.00/tonne
The deadline for enrollment is
KNpvember 16, 1987. Enrollment forms are
mailable from your local O.M.A.F. office.
