Rev. Dwayne Thielke officiated the ceremony with Rynie Bakelaar of Teeswater sitting at the organ. The bride is the daughter of Hank and Jackie Duiker of Holyrood. The groom is the son of Lloyd and Mary Ann Winterburn of Madoc. Katherine Zettler, sister of the bride, of Guelph, was matron of honour. Bridesmaids included Lori Peterbaugh of Mississauga, Judy Murray of Kincardine, both friends to the bride, and Renee Duiker, sister of the bride. Richard Carleton of Belleville, a friend of the groom, acted as bestman while ushers included Richard Duiker, brother of the bride, Don Evans of Glammis and Jim Morris, also of Glammis, friends of the groom. A dinner and reception followed the ceremony at the Ripley Community Cen- tre. The couple welcomed friends from Belleville, Guelph, Bramlea, Hamilton, Mississauga, Toronto, Kitchener, Halton Hills, Kingston, Holland and Lucknow and surrounding area. (Photo by In- Focu Studio, Durham) Lorenz - Hedley St. Mathew's Lutheran Chruch in Mildmay was the scene of a lovely late summer wedding on September 5, 1987 when Nancy Lillian Lorenz and Gary Dale Hedley exchanged vows. Rev. Micheal Pryse performed the dou- ble ring ceremony. Verna Pegelo of Chesley, a friend of the bride, sat at the organ while the uncle of the groom, Dale Hedley of Holyrood, performed the duties of soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lillian Lorenz of Teeswater. The groom is the son of Debert and Joyce Hedley of Kinlough. The maid of honor for the service was Cindy Lorenz of Teeswater, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids included Bonnie Strauss of Elmira, sister of the bride, Deb- bie Hedley of Kinlough, sister to the groom, and Karen Hedley also a sister to the groom of Kinlough. The flowergirls included Lena Lorenz of Kitchener, niece and godchild of the bride and Kristin Howey, also of Kitchener, niece and godchild of the groom. The best man was Paddy Hedley, brother of the groom from Kitchener while ushers included Allan Gottschalk of St. Mary's, friend of the groom, Jim Lorenz of Kitchener and and Doiig Lorenz of RR2 Mildmay, both brothers to the bride. The bride was given in " marriage by here brother Wayne Lorenz. A dinner and reception was held follow- ing the ceremony at the Teeswater Com- munity Centre. Following the honeymoon to Niagra Falls, the happy couple is residing in Tees'vater. Phillips - Johnston The Dungannon United Church was the site of the August 28 wedding of Audrey Phillips to Grant Johnston. The bride is the daughter of Bill and Ir- ma Phillips of RR7 Lucknow while the groom is the son of Jean Johnston of RR2 Auburn. Rev. Albert Cook officiated the ceremony which saw Karen Vandervoort, of Wingham, stand up as the maid of honor and Colin Chisholm of Clinton act as the best man. Ushers included John Johnston of Strathroy and Bob Phillips of Kitchener. A reception followed at the Lucknow Community Centre and following a honey- moon in Collingwood, the couple is residing at RR2 Auburn. Rachel Marie ar- rived at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on October 7, 1987 and weighed in at 7lbs, 10 ozs. Proud grandparents are Jack and Bet- ty Ackert of Kincardine and Helen and Gerry Underwood of Waterloo. Ethel Owen of Waterloo is the proud, twelfth - time great grandparent. VOISIN-Steven and Vicki of RR2 Lucknow are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their second daughter, Stephanie Ann, born October 1, 1987 at the Alexander and Marine General Hospital, Goderich. She weighed in at 81bs, 2 ozs and is a wee sister for Shauna. Proud grandparents are Rene and Agnes Delbergue of Lucknow and Magnus and Betty Voisin of Formosa. Stephanie is a great grandaughter for Mrs. Regina Voisin of Mildmay, Mr. Julien Delbergue of Port Albert and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ernewein of Walkerton. SAGER -Tom and Arlene (nee Corrin) are delighted to announce the arrival of their second son, Thomas Devin, born Saturday, October 3 1987. He weighed in at 7lbs, 3ozs and is a new playmate for big brother Carey. Proud grandparents are Dr. Mel and Marg Corrin, Lucknow, and Don and Rosemarie Sager, Goderich. SLOETJES-Henry, Sheila and Leanne thank the Lord fbr the safe arrival of a daughter, Kara Louise, 9lbs, 14ozs, born October 9, 1987.
