Dile took this series three games to two and then had to meet the Lanesville Lords in the A Division final. Lanesville had finished the regular season with a perfect record of 13 wins. Nile's only loss in the regular season was to Lanesville in a game decided by a single run. In the championship series, Lanesville won two of the first three games while Nile battled back to win the fourth game to even the series. Following that close shave, the Lucknow Kinsmen went on to sweep Benmiller three games straight in the final. This completes another successful year of mens recreational slowpitch which in- volved a total of 14 teams and approx- imately 200 playsf. A special thanks should be given to league president Greg Hackett, treasurer Milton Turner and to secretary John Hulley who formed the three man executive which guided the league this season.
