PENTLAND
With respect for, and in memory of a car-
ing son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle,
W. Roger A. Pentland, who left this earth,
September 18, 1986.
God saw you were tired, Uncle Roger
When a cure was not to be
He closed His arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me".
In tears, we saw you sinking;
We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were so broken;
You fought so hard to stay.
What you suffered, you told so few
You didn't deserve what you went through.
Tired and weary, you made no fuss
Trying so hard to stay with us.
But when We saw you sleeping,
So peacef ull f rem from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
So treasure him, Lord,
In Your `Garden of Rest'
For here on earth,
He was one of the best.
The courage he showed gives us strength
to carry on. Frank and family. -37
PENTLAND
In loving memory of a dear friend, Roger,
who passed away on September 18, 1986.
Three little words, forget-me-not,
It doesn't seem much, but it means a lot,
It's just a remembrance, fond and true,
To prove, dear one, we think of you.
Lovingly remembered by Jean and
girls. -37x
