with his sister Evelyn Johnson.

their two week holiday from their jobs at the
same time and they are taking it as a tour in
Southern Ontario. From here they were

Stopped by to visit
Recently, Miss Mary MacDonald of
Ripley St. in Ripley called at the door here
and introduced her niece Mrs. Joan Hunter
of Toronto and her three young daughters
Sarah, Andrea and Katie. Joan is the
daughter of Grant and Lyla MacLennan,
both formerly of the sixth concession in
Huron Township. They lived for several
years in Listnwel and now in Kitchener.
The three MacDonald sisters the family of
Adam ("Ad") and Margaret Cameron,
were Lyla, Mary and Marjorie (Mrs. Cot-
trill of Kincardine), combined to write a
very nice piece about their farm lot 37 on
concession 5 (the sixth road) . It was the se-
cond farm west of the old Pine River Cheese
Factory. Get a 1985 Gwen Harrison history
book. We worked at the haying there in the
summer of 1928 and remember the rattling
of those loose planks in the bridge.
