Fall programs
at the library
This week marks the start-up of the
regular weekly programs at the Lucknow
Branch Library. There promises to be
something for everyone, so don't be left
out. There is no charge to attend these
programs.
For the pre-schoolers, ages 3 to 5, there
is Story Hour every Friday morning from
10:30 until 11:30 a.m. when kids will hear
stories, play games, watch movies and
even do crafts. At the same time, for the
parents, there is a film program upstairs.
These movies cover a wide scope of topics
and are open to the public at large.
For all children ages 3 to 12, there are
fun movies every Saturday from 1 until 2
p.m. so come to town and drop off the kids
while you shop.
We are pleased to announce a new pro-
gram this year called Book Pals which is
an exchange club for 8 to 14 year olds in
which they recommend books they en-
joyed to their 'pal' fromthe Walkerton
Branch Library who has similar reading
interests. Now is the time to stop in and
register for this exciting program.
For the adults in the area, we are hoping
to run a film series if enough interest is
shown. If you are interested, please come
in this week and fill out a survey form as to
what type and lenght of movies you'd like
to see.

special programs, feel free to contact Fran
