The kids involved in the Kingsbridge Summer School Playground program got
together to present a special concert for parents last week. About 90 children from the
area participated in the annual summer school which is funded entirely by the com-
munity. Shannon Durnin supervised this year's playground with help from Maryanne

Senior Citizens Convention
Congratulations are in order this week to
Mr. and Mrs. Perry VanOsch, nee Wendy
Forster, who were wed on Saturday.
Joan Robinson, as president, and Tena
Gardner, as treasurer of the Lucknow
Town and Country Senior Citizens, attend-
ed the 29th annual convention of the United
Senior Citizens of Ontario at the University
of Guelph recently.
Mary MacIntosh, Ruth Bell, Nancy
Maclntyre of Lucknow and Helen Ver-
chimak of Flushing, Michigan enjoyed a
three week holiday in Scotland and
England recently. While in England,
Mary, Helen and Nancy visited with Mrs.
Eve Baxter in Cheshire and with Mrs.
Francis Leay in Baunton while Ruth
travelled on to spend a week with her aunt
Irene Willoughby and relatives at Bath.
The highlight of the trip, according to the
ladies, was attending the Scottish
Highland Games near Mallaig and the
Euinburgh Military Tattoo. Welcome
home, ladies.

Michigan stayed over for a longer visit.
Dinner guests on Monday with Ira and
Elizabeth Dickie and Sarah Townson were
Margaret Scott and Florence MacDonald
of Ripley; Jessie Hartlett of Clearwater,
Florida and Kathleen Nestor of Oxford,
Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Malleck of Kit-
chener visited on Wednesday with Mr. and
Mrs. Ira Dickie.
