VERNA ELIZABETH GERTRUDE
HAMILTON
Verna Elizabeth Hamiltonv f Hamilton
passed away at the Hamilton General
Hospital on August 18, 1987. She was 82.
Born in Huron Township ti, John and
Mary Hamilton in August of 1904, Verna is
survived by a brother, Garn, Hamilton
also of Hamilton.
She is predeceased by her„parents as
well as two brothers, Lorne and Carmen
Hamilton.
Complete funeral and committal ser-
vices were held for Verna Elizabeth Ger-
trude Hamilton at the MacKenzie and Mc-
Creath Funeral Home in Lucknow. Rev. A.
J. Cook officiated with interment at the
Greenhill Cemetery.
FLORANCE MARY MACLENNAN
Florance Mary MacLennan of Kitchener
passed away at the University Hospital in
London on August 16, 1987. She was 38
years -of -age and worked as a nurse for St.
Mary's Hospital in Kitchener.
Florance was born to Emile and Arietta
MacLennan in February of 1949 in Kincar-

and nephews.
She is predeceased by her father, Emile

tal were held from the MacKenzie and Mc-
Creath Funeral Home, Lucknow on August
19 with Rev. H. Nugent of the Ashfield
Presbyterian Chruch officiating. Colin
MacLennan acted as flower bearer while
active pallbearers included Kevin Miller,
Steve Miller, Ton MacLennan, John
MacLennan, Jason Morton and Donnie
MacLennan. Interment at the Kincardine
Cemetery.

OPEN HOUSE
An Open House will be held for
residents of East Wawanosh Township
regarding a proposal to register Fill Line
Mapping in the Township of East
Wawanosh. The Mapping will be used by
the Maitland Valley Conservation Authori-
ty (MVCA) to identify areas where the
placement of fill should be regulated for
the purpose of flood control, pollution
control and the conservation of land.
Areas to be regulated include water-
courses, flood plains, river valleys, head-
water areas and swamps.
Maps to be displayed at the Township
Hall in East Wawanosh Township.
