Clan comes from far and wide to attend reunion
The MacDonald clan got together to
celebrate their annual reunion on Satur-
day, August 2 this year and a good crowd
turned out for the event. A number of the
family members travelled a long distance
to attend. They were; Bob and Mary
Burkhaug and children Eric and Bethany
of Chicago, Kathy and Jim Robson and
family Ryan and Phaedora of Gros Route
Park, Michigan, Jane McKinnan and Fern
Bloomfield and daughter Allison of Paris,
Ontario, Marge and Jim Mildrum of
Detroit, Sarah Blue also of Detroit,
Eugene Blue of St. Clare Shores,
Michigan, Anna MacChildress of Detroit,
John and Sheri Agnew of Plymouth,
Michigan and son Doug with wife -to -be Sue
Clark, Scott and Brenda Agnew, Bob and
Lorie Evans and daughter Carlie of
Florida, Jeff and Kathy Senevy and
children Jeff and Lacole Finlay and
Margie as well as grandchildren Thomas
and Nicole MacDonald of Fort Nelson,
B.C., Dave Agnew and Sue Amy of
Chicago. Late arrivals for the reunion
were Tom and Gloria MacDonald also of
Fort Nelson.
Visitors on Saturday with Barry and Bet-
ty Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Doug Mathews
of Thordale and on Monday Mr. and Mrs.
Doug Jones and their boys also of Thorn -
dale. Kristian Mathews will be staying the
week with the Jones's.

Congratulations to Tom and Pauline
Kempton on the arrival of their son Brent
Thomas born in the Kincardine and
District Hospital on Tuesday, July 28.
Brent weighed in at 7lbs, 14 ozs. ' He is a lit-
tle brother for Daniel. Grandparents are
Ronald and Marlyn Lowry of RR2 Ripley
and Bill and Janet Kempton of Point
Clark.
Jim and Kae Webster visited on Friday
evening with Mrs. Norma Young in
Goderich. On Saturday evening Jim, Cecil
and Kae along with Elmer and Edna
Culbert had coffee with Charles and Myme
Wilkins.
Recent visitors with Rhetta and Marion
MacLennan have been Bruce and Louise
Miller of Palmerston and Ewen and Mary
McLean and Margie MacDonald. On the

Mr. and Mrs. Mark McAuley along with
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Van Sickle and their
families spent a few days camping at
Cypress Lake Provincial Camp last week.
Mark and Peter and the boys hiked from
Cypress Lake to Tobermory and camped
out overnight on the trail. All reported an
excellent time.
Mr. Tasso Karantonis of Toronto spent
the weekend visiting with his family at his
summer home here.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mulder and family
spent a week camping at the Pinery Pro -
weekend, Florence MacLennan and her
friend Shirley of Kitchener along with
Rhetta's grandson Collin MacLennan of
Agincourt stopped in for a brief visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greenwood and their
family enjoyed a few days camping at
