McAllister - Dotterer
The Knox Presbyterian Church in
Goderich was the site of the exchange of
wedding vows between William (Bill)
James McAllister of RR2 Auburn, son of
Robert and Ethel McAllister and Elizabeth
(Beth) Anne Dotterer, daughter of Geoff
Dotterer of Goderich and Mrs. Donald
Butts of Schenectady, New York. The
ceremony took place on June 27, 1987.
Susan Stadlemann of RR4 Goderich, a
friend of the bride, stood as the maid of
honor while bridesmaids included Collen
Ausman of RR1 Milverton and Anna Marie
Young of RR3 Auburn. Stephanie Fox and
Mandy MacGillivray acted as junior
bridesmaids and Cori Fell was the
flowergirl for the couple. Nathan Hubbard
of Belgrave was the ringbearer.
Joe Boyle, a friend of the groom from
Auburn stood up as the groomsman while
the ushers for the service included Brian
VanAaken of RR3 Bayfield, Rob Royal of
Brampton, the brother of the bride Robert
Dotterer of Schenectady, New York and
Wilfrid Lonsbary of Goderich.
Following the church ceremony, a
reception for Bill and Beth was held at the
Lucknow Community ' Centre where
friends and relatives wished the couple
well. Bill and Beth McAllister will reside
at RR2 Auburn and have plans to honey-
moon in New York later in the year.

HENNING-Norman and Cindy Henning .
are pleased to announce the safe arrival of
their daughter Sabbrina Ann, born August
11, 1987, weighing 9lbs, 3 ozs. A little sister
for Jennifer and Tabbitha. Proud grand-
parents are Ron and Eleanor Horn, Exeter
and Rudy and Susan Henning, London.
Sabbrina is the fourth great grand-
daughter for Jim and Susan McNaughton
of Lucknow.
Irvin -Mr. and Mrs. Alex Irvin of Wingham
are pleased to announce the safe arrival of
a daughter, Cassandra Alexis, on August 5,
1987 at the Wingham and District Hospital.
Cassandra weighed in at 81bs, 4oz at her
birth. She is a new grandchild for Russel
and Lillian Irvin and Alex and Gwen
Strong.
Teen Circle
Reunion
Noma Campbell of Lucknow was hostess
for the 18th semi-annual reunion of the
former Pine River Teen Circle held Mon-
day, August 10.
Eighteen of the original group along with
one visitor sat down to a bountiful pot luck
dinner. Following the meal, our hostess
gave out several novelty prizes.
Mrs. Eldon Bradley presided over the
program which consisted of readings and
contests conducted by Elva Lowry, Lila
MacLennan, Doris Michie --and - Bonnie
Ackert.
In memory of one of the members,
Marion Lackey, deceased since the last
reunion of the group, Mary MacDonald
read the poem `Footprints'.
It was decided at the gathering that the
next reunion, to be held in one year, would
be at the home of Lila MacLennan in Kit-
chener on August 8, 1988. The committee
will consist of Fern Pollock, Lila MacLen-
nan, Mary MacDonald and Allene
Bradley.
After an enjoyable visit, the group came
together to sing 'The more we get together'
and then took leave for home looking for-
ward to next year's reunion.

Husni k - Thomson
A pretty rainbow wedding took place on
July 18, 1987 at the St. Augustine R.C.
Church when Donna Thomson and Bob
Husnik exchanged wedding vows.
Donna is the daughter of Bruce and
Maureen Thomson of RR1 Lucknow while
Bob is the son of John and Blanch Husnik
of Gorrie.
Rev. Ed Dentinger of Kingsbridge per-
formed the ceremony and the Stapleton
girls of St. Augustine played the organ and
sang. Angela Foran sang `Evergreen' and
'The Rose' while the register was being
signed.
The maid of honor for the ceremony was
Carol Foran, cousin of the bride while the
best man was David Thomson, brother of
the bride. Guests were ushered by Jeff
Thomson, brother of the bride and Tom
Husnik, brother of the groom. Others in the
wedding party included Cathy Thomson,
sister-in-law of the bride, Diane Leddy,
cousin of the bride, Della Bridge, sister of
the groom, Diane Jefferson a friend of the
bride, Allen PeWton, friend of the groom
and Charles Husnik, brother of the groom.
Julie Thomson performed the duties of
flower girl while Mathew Thomson acted
as ringbearer.
Following the beautiful ceremony, a
reception was held at the Lucknow Com-
munity Centre where friends and relatives
in attendance had a chance to pass along
their best wishes to the couple.
