The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ian McPherson of Teeswater and Gail is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hackett of Lucknow. Rev, G.R. McFarlane performed the ceremony. Matron of honor was Cecile deBoer, friend of the bride, of Wroxeter; bridesmaid Cheryl Hackett, sister of the bride, of Lucknow; bridesmaid Jackie McPherson, sister of the groom, of London; flowergirl Emily Cleland, niece of the groom, of Walkerton. Bestmad was Stewart McPherson, brother of the groom, of Teeswater; usher John Vance, nephew of the groom, of Hanover; usher Brad Yandt, friend of the grooni, of Hanover; usher Larry Hackett, brother of the bride, of Lucknow; ringbearer Christopher Hackett, nephew of the bride, of Lucknow. A reception was held at. the Lucknow Com- munity Centre. The couple has taken up residence in Lucknow. Congratulations to Chris Hartemink and Joan Timmerman who were united in mariage May 30, 1987. COLLING - Paul and Susan (nee Dawson) are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their sdn Steven Dawson, 7 lbs. 7 oz., on June 11, 1987 at Wingham and District Hospital. First grandson for Don and Nan- cy Dawson and second grandson for Gerald and Judy Coiling. Former Lucknow Maggie May McKendrick Maggie May (McMorran) McKendrick, a former Lucknow resident, passed away at the Southampton Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 10 in her 95th year. She was born in Paisley, Ontario on August 29, 1892 to Daniel Clark McMorran and Margaret Wallace. She was the widow of the late John D. McKendrick who predeceased her in 1962.- Her 962:Her parents predeceased her in 1950 and 1952 and her only sister Madelyne passed - away in 1968. The McMorran family were well-known among old timers as they were a very musical family and many youngsters came to take their music lessons from Mr. McMorran. Interment in Greenhill Cemetery. David Alexander MacKenzie Mr. David Alexander MacKenzie, of Goderich, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in London on Sunday, June 14 at the age of 72. Born in Ashfield Township on June 8, 1915,, he was the son of the late Roderick MacKenzie and the former Sarah Alice Taylor. His wife, the former Grace Elizabeth Webster, survives, He was camp owner -operator of the Mackenzie Trailer Park, a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, and a member of Northern Light Lodge No. 93 A.F. and A.M. of Kincardine. Surviving besides his wife .is one daughter, Beverly Harris of Kincardine; one sister, Ethel (Mrs. Cliff Jackman) of Mississauga; and two grandchildren, Mark Harris of Toronto and Lynne (Mrs. Jeff Bonnett) of Clinton. The funeral service was held Tuesday, June 16 at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home with Rev. G.L. Royal of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating. Pallbearers were Donald McKenzie, Roderick McKenzie, John McKenzie, Mur- ray McNain, Kenneth Webster and Jack Roberts.
