Lucknow resident Mary Ami Glenn
Mary Ann Glenn
Mary Ann Glenn, of Ross Street in
Lucknow, died at Wingham and District
Hospital on June 7 at the age of 85.
Born in West Wawanosh, on December
10, 1901, she was the daughter of the late
Samuel Cooke and Mary Ann Raynard.
She married Frank Glenn in Lucknow on
June 24, 1925. She was a member of
Dungannon United Church.
Surviving besides her husband are her
children: Oliver Glenn of Lucknow,
Harold Glenn of Lucknow, Joyce Pocock of
Dawson Creek, B.C., Donnie Glenn of
Toronto, Vernon Glenn of Auburn, and
Gerrie Glenn of Dungannon.
Also surviving are two sister, Dolly
(Mrs. Hugh Menary) and Mrytle (Mrs.
Herb McQuillin) of Lucknow and one
brother Chris Cooke of RR 7 Lucknow.
She was predeceased by one son, Jack in
1942, a daughter in June of 1952 and two
brothers, Sam and Bill.
The funeral service was held at the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Horne
in Lucknow with Rev. R. Roberts of
Dungannon officiating.
Flower bearers were Janine Hamilton,
Julie Glenn, Amy -Jo Glenn, Angela Glenn,
Arletta Glenn and .Linda Oesch, all
granddaughters.
Pallbearers were six grandsons, John
Glenn, Brian Glenn, Robert Glenn, An-
drew Glenn, Greg Hamilton and David
Oesch.
Interment in Dungannon Cemetery.
Charlotte Elizabeth Cooke
Charlotte Elizabeth Cooke of West
Wawanosh died at University Hospital on
Wednesday, June 10 at the age of 80.
Born in Kinloss Township on May 12,
1907, she was the daughter of the late John
James Smith and the former Gertrude
Borton. She married Christopher Cooke
who survives. She was a member of Trini-
ty United Church.
Surviving besides her husband are one
son, Harold Cooke of West Wawanosh; one
borhter Alexander Smith of Owen Sound,
and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son James
Christopher Cooke in 1984.
The funeral service was held Friday,
June 12 at the MacKenzie and McCreath
Funeral Home in Lucknow with Rev. R.
Roberts of Trinity United Church
officiating.
Pallbearers were Bob Johnston, Ronnie
Menary, Sam Cooke, Bill Cooke, Russel
Phillips and Cliff Kilpatrick. Interment in

South Kinloss Cemetery.
Wesley Tiffin
Funeral service was held Sunday at the
McBurney Funeral Home in Wingham for
J. Wesley West Tiffin of Rr 3 Wingham
Whitechurch ). Rev. George Ball of-
ficiated and interment followed in
Wingham Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doug Tiffin, Bevin Tif-
fin, Greg MacMillan, David MacMillan,
Joe Tiffin and Alan Falconer. Bearers of
floral tributes were Stephen Tiffin, Tony
Falconer and Paul MacMillan.
Mr. Tiffin passed away at Wingham and
District Hospital on Friday, June 12 in his
86th year.
Born Wugust 25, 1901 in Kinloss
Township, he was a son of the late Joseph
Tiffin and Mary Taylor.
He married the former Jean Isabella
Dawson at her home on May 24, 1927 and
they farmed together until 1961. He then
drove a bus for Wingham secondary school
students until 1973: He was a member of
Chalmers Presbyterian Church,
Whitechurch.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one
sister-in-law Isabel Tiffin of Lucknow; a
niece, Colleen MacMillan of Sarnia and a
nephew, Joseph Tiffin of RR 2 Teeswater.
He was predeceased by his brothers Or-
ville and George and one nephew Danny.

Ina May Eadie
Ina May Eadie of RR 3 Wingham ded at
University Hospital on Tuesday, June 9 at
the age of 89.
Born in Huron Township on May 8, 1898,
she was the daughter of the late William
Edward Culbeert and the former Rachel
Harrie. She married William Eadie, who
predeceased her, at the family home on
October 17, 1923.
Ina Eadie taught school in Kinloss and
Ashfield Township for seven years prior to
her marriage to William Eadie. Bill and
Ina farmed on the 8th Concession just west
of Holyrood until 1966 when they retired to
Wingham. They wre sadly bereaved by
the loss of their daughter Doris Colwell in
1970. Bill's sudden death in 1972 ended 48
years of happy marriage.
She was a member of the Wingham
United Church.
Ina's many talents, kindly manner and
love of life enriched the many friendships
she enjoyed throughout her life. Her fami-
ly treasure memories of a beloved and lov-
ing mother, grandmother and aunt.
Surviving are one son, Lorne Eadie and
his wife Doris of RR 3 Lucknow; son-in-law
Currie Colwell of RR 5 Lucknow; grand-
daughters Betty (Mrs. Ken Morrison) of
Sudbury, Mary (Mrs. David Wiley) of
Beamsville, Anne (Mrs. Ken Reid) of
Listowel, grandsons Douglas Eadie of Kin-
cardine, Bruce Colwell of RR 5 Lucknow,
David Eadie of RR 5 Lucknow, Kenneth
Eadie of RR 3 Holyrood, Steven Eadie of
RR 3 Holyrood and Allan Eadie of RR 3
Wingham. Fourteen great-grandchildren
also survive.
She was predeceased by her husband
William Eadie in,972 and Daughter Doris
Colwell in 1970. Br`o`therUt'ne Culbert and
sisters Edna Peterbough and Eva Culbert
also predeceased.
The funeral service was held at the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home
in Lucknow with Rev. R. Grant of
Wingham United Church officiating.
Flower bearers were granddaughters
Mary Wiley and Anne Reid with six grand-
sons as pallbearers, Douglas Eadie, David
Eadie, Kenneth Eadie, Steven Eadie,
Allan Eadie and Bruce Colwell.
Interment in South Kinloss Cemetery.
Roberta Jean St. Louis
After a long and courageous fight
against cancer, it is with great sadness
that the St. Louis family announces the
passing of a wonderful wife and mother,
Jean St. Louis, at the Henderson General
Hospital on Tuesday, June 2.
She leaves her husband, Clayton, with
happy memories of their time together.
She also leaves her daughter Linda and
her husband Al Nagan'obu, son Brian and
his wife Mary and son Steven, still at
home. She was deeply loved and will be
sadly missed by two grandchildren Eric
and Brianne.
Dear daughter of Louisa Reid and the
late Manson Reid and sister of Jessie
Stevenson, Edna Greba and Lorne Reid.
Friends were received at the Donald V.
Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek.
Mass of the Christian Burial was held at
St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday, June
5. Interment was in Mountview Gardens.
Laurine Lienhardt
Laurine Lienhardt died peacefully, after
a brief illness, at her residence, 83 King St.
W., St. Clements, on Sunday, June 7 at the
age of 70.
She was born in St. Clements and was a
meniber of St. Clements RC Church, the
Christian Mothers' Society and the Golden
Years Club.
Daughter of the late Henry and
Elizabeth Dietrich; wife of George
Lienhardt who predeceased her in 1976.
Mother of Anne and her husband Terry
Dalton of RR 7 Luckno; Patricia and her
husband Bryan White and Janet, both of
St. Clements; grandmother of six grand-
children, Colleen, Patrick and David
Dalton, Michael, Shawna and Kevin White.
Predeceased by a brother, Patrick
Dietrich in 1963; two sisters, Clarissa
Schickler in 1954 and Annie Hergott in
March of 1987.
Mrs. Lienhardt's family received
friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral
Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Mon-
day, June 8. Prayers were offered at the
funeral home Tuesday, June 9 followed by
the funeral mass at St. Clements R.C.
Church with Rev. W.L. Ryan officiating.
Interment followed in the church
cemetery.
