A dollhouse built by Allan Andrew and decorated by the Lucknow
Brownies was donated to the kindergarten classroom at LCPS
recently. The Brownies decorated the house for part of their "toy
maker badge" requirements. Shown with the completed house

Trinity UCW held their Garden Party at Brookside School on June
2. Over 300 people were treated to a feast "fitfor a king". This has
been an annual affair since 1969 when Hacketts. Zion and Blakes
ama gamated. For numerous years prior to 1969, it was a yearly

service held
Congratulations to Heather Young and
Frank Barrow of Wingham who were mar-
ried at Goderich on Saturday evening.
Anniversary services were held at
Chalmers Church on Sunday with services
in charge of Rev. Ramsay of Lucknow
Presbyterian Church. The church choir
supplied the music for the services at 11
a.m. and 8 p.m. with lunch following the
evening service.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Vannus, London, and grandparents Mr.
and Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw on the May 15 ar-
rival of Lindsay Anne at Victoria Hospital
in London. A sister for Lauren.
Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott
of Wedenesday were Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred
Elliott of Regina, Saskatchewan.
Chalmers WMS will celebrate their 100th
anniversary on June 17 at 12 noon with din-
ner and worship service at 2 p.m.
McClenaghans held their family picnic
at the biome of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss of
Plattsville on Sunday.
On Sunday, Miss Mildred McClenaghan
attended the McClenaghan picnic and met
a classmate whom she had not seen for
five years, Mrs. Richard Yole of Ottawa.
On Saturday, Mrs. Jim Wharton, Angie
and Catherine of Belgrave visited with Mr.
and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
Ken and Glen Sinnamon and Mr. and
Mrs. Ronald Beecroft of Wingham visited
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Beecroft.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott and Karen
spent Sunday at the Elliott picnic in
Woodstock.
The Anniversary Service of the United
Church is to be held June 14 at 11 a.m. and
8 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Lloyd
Marti of Guelph with special music by the
New. Life Singers of Wingham in the
evening.
