MacTavish Garage. In a similar, but less serious incident on Sunday, May 24, children playing with matches was again the cause of a fire at the farm of David MacKinnon of RR 3 Holyrood. No damage was caused after a tractor tire in a sandbox was set fire and spread to nearby trees, said Mr. Hamilton. After the two recent fire calls involving youngsters playing with snatches, Mr. Hamilton suggested that parents warn their children about the dangers of playing with matches.
