On Friday Mrs. Victor Emerson of Bray
Lodge, Wingham attended the Christian
Reform School on Highway 86 as grand-
mother for Karen Lubbers. The pupils
were to invite their grandther or invite
one to attend the concert. The program
was opened by the principal, who introduc-
ed the first animal play after which the
pupils announced their own number as
capably as any adult.
The program consisted of readings,
musical numbers, songs and activity
numbers. A delicious lunch was served by
the pupils after which all enjoyed a social
time.
We are pleased to report that George
Lubbers of Whitechurch who had his truck
and carpenter tools stolen have now been
returned by the police safe and sound after
two days away.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron,Nicholson of Egmond-
-ville, Ryan, Erin and Craig spent
Mother's Day with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. John DeBoer. Mr. and Mrs. Jim
DeBoer, Michael, Matthew and Alicia also
visited them.
Visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Victor Emerson
on Sunday were Mr. & Mrs. Fred Tiffin
and Mrs. Gertrude Tiffin.
Mother's Day guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Ronald Beecroft, Wingham were Mr. and
Mrs. Archie Hertel and Karen Beecroft,
Kitchener; Ken, Glen and Hugh Sinnamon,
Wingham and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Beecroft.
Mrs. Tom Vannus and Lauren of London
visited Friday with her parents Mr. and
Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw.
On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ducharme
spent Mother's Day with Mr. and Mrs.
Elroy Laidlaw.
Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Falconer and Jackie
have sold their house and in the future will
move to Exeter.
