Carmichael - Rivett
Nancy Anne Carmichael and Duane
Kinsley Rivett of Dungannon were mar-
ried at the Dungannon United Church on
April 18, 1987. Rev. Robert Roberts of-
ficiated. The bride is the daughter of Don
and Sharon Pengelly of Dungannon while
the groom is the son of Jim and. Sandra
Rivett, also of Dungannon. The Maid of
Honor was Debbie Gregory of RR 3
Auburn, friend of the bride. The
bridesmaids were Mary Ellen Boel of
Dungannon, friend of the bride; Vickie
Sole of RR 3 Goderich, friend of the bride;
Judy Carmichael of Dungannon, sister of
the bride; and Janice Dougherty of RR 3
Goderich, . friend of the bride. The
flowergirl was Tammy Pengelly of
Dungannon, sister of the bride, while the
ringbearer was Jason Boel .of Dungannon,
friend of the bride and groom. The
Groomsman was Elwyn Brindley of RR 3
Auburn, friend of the groom. The ushers
were Larry Sowerby of RR 4 Goderich,
friend of the groom; Don Carmichael of
Lindsay, brother of the bride; Scott Rivett
of RR 3 Goderich, brother of the groom;
and Alan Rivett of Dungannon, brother of
the groom. The soloists were Ron Doiron of
Toronto and Helen Elliott of RR 6
Goderich. The organist was Mrs. Jean
Elliott of RR 6 Goderich. Following a
reception at the Saltford Valley Hall, .the
couple went on their wedding trip to Nor-
thern Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rivett
are residing in Dungannon. (Harvey

dedication
LUCKNOW
On Sunday, 'May 3 Mrs. Verna Elphick
and Mrs. Elsie Houston attended the
dedication of a cairn at the abandoned
Greenwood Cemetery on the eastern boun-
dary of the village of Pinkerton. The
Greenock Council and the descendants of
the Pinkerton families are to be con-
gratulated on the fine effort of honoring
many pioneers buried in this cemetery.
The Iadies also visited the graves of
relatives in Douglas Hill and Purdy's
Cemetery in the same area.
MURRAY - Brian and Karen Murray of
RR 2 Holyrood are pleased to announce the'
birth of their daughter, Vicky Jean, 7 lbs.
13 oz., on April 27, 1987 at the Wingham and
District Hospital.
FARRISH - Ashley Ann quickly entered
the world on April 14, 1987 at 2 p.m.
weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. Grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Farrish of Kintail
and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Searle of Lucknow.
Great grandmas are Marj Farrish and
Gerda deJong of Lucknow. Proud parents
are Mark and Debbie of Edmonton,
Alberta.
GRAHAM - Ralph and Euphemia
Cameron are pleased to announcethe ar-
rival of their new granddaughter, Sarah
Jean Euphemia, born on April 28, 1987,
weighing 7 lbs. 111/2 oz., at Welland
General Hospital, a daughter for Hugh and
Sandy Graham, and a little sisiter for Amy
and Jory.
