By Stuart Jackson
Press Correspondent
Once again, the issue of ordaining and
commissioningomosexuals into the
United Church Ministry came up at last

United Church of Canada. This topic has
come up at the last three bi-monthly
meetings, but with no resolutions being

Another important part of the meeting
was the recognition of the two men from
the Presbytery who will be ordained into
the United Church Ministry. Steven
Huntley, a candidate from Walkerton, and
David Maxwell, a candidate from Chesley,
addressed Presbytery during a commu-

dination service will take . place in
Waterloo on May 31st.
During the election of officers for the
1987-88 year, the Rev. Margaret Bain of
Hanover was acclaimed as the next

meeting, the outgoing chairperson, the
Rev. Gordon Williams of Port Elgin, hand-
