So listen now and you'll agree As you watch animals climb their trees You'll know that Spring is on it's way Sunshine, warmth, so light and gay. Connie Husk Gr. 7 My hero My hero would be a tall, muscular, dark haired man with pale blue eyes and a weather beaten face. He would be a western frontier town sheriff from the 1700's. He would be able to draw a six gun quick as lightning. He also would be able to hit a target from a distance of one hundred yards. He would be as quiet and stealthy as an Indian scout and he would be a great horseman. That would be my hero. Terry Stanley Hat Day ° On Hat Day there were many weird hats" Mrs. Clooney (the grade eight teacher) had an umbrella hat, Mr. Pike had lights on his. In our grade five room the most creative hat award was given to Shelly Gollan. There were many funny hats such as a pizza delivery man hat and a soldier hat. Anyway I'd sure want another hat day.
