On Friday, Mrs. Orville Needham from London was up for a visit. Happy Birthday Tania! Welcome home wishes are extended to Bert Thompson from his friends and neighbours in the Purple Grove area! Mr. and Mrs. Jim Farrell spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Derk Logtenberg and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrell have just returned from a trip to New Jersey and New. York. Janet said they had a really nice time. Welcome home! Mr. and Mrs. Donald Forster and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Evan Keith of South Kinloss for Sunday lunch. Also visiting there were Mr. and Mrs. Murray Keith and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Keith from Toronto. Visitors during the week with Sandra and Donald Forster and family were Janice Scott, Frank Colwell from Kincardine, Tom MacDonald from Fort Nelson, Bill and Dale Robinson from Ripley, Dorinda Bowers from Pt. Clark, and Mary Lazarevich from Brantford. Bette McLeod and grandson Robert en- joyed an Easter visit from Bette's niece, Sandy Miller, and son Charlie from Toronto. Robert will be going home on Tuesday. Come back and visit us soon Robert! Marj Thompson is spending a few days at PURPLE home with her son, Bert. On Sunday, Marj attended the baptismal service of Laurie and Mike Gallant's son Kyle in Kincardine. Isabel and Norval Stanley together with Deanna and Morley Scott had a lovely Easter Sunday dinner with Don and Jessie Doupe and family. Also present were Fred and Susan Doupe and boys. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ed McGillivray and family for Easter were Eunice and Wib Emmerton of Bruce Beach. Kate Collins enjoyed having her family present for Easter: Ed and Sandra McGillivray and family, Dave and Margie Lochhead and family, Ruth and Gord Pat- terson, Bill Patterson, Bobby Robertson, Ruth Gordon, and Betty Lochhead from Stoney Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Don Robertson visited on Sunday with Mrs. Rena McNab of Lucknow. Evelyn Bridge from Kincardine, Henry and Jackie Pope and sons, Chris and James of Paisley were all Sunday with Mrs. Rena McNab of Lucknow. Evelyn Bridge from Kincardine, Henry and Jackie`Pope and sons, Chris and James of Paisley were all Sunday visitors with Ken and Brenda Bridge and family. Ken and Brenda Bridge hosted the first meeting of the Ripley/Kincardne 4-H Swine Club which was held on Thursday, April 23, 1987. Neighbors hold social evening Fourth concession neighbours gathered at the Kairshea Hall on April 11 for a social evening for John MacKinnon. John sold his farm and moved to Lucknow some time ago. Following a card party, Mrs. Lloyd, MacDougall read a poetic address and Bill Moffat presented John .with a piece of luggage. Jack and Blanche Needham are home to Kinloss again after spending the winter in the northern part of Florida. Norma Maclntyre and her husband Dave of Waterloo spent Easter with her parents, Marilyn and Donald Maclntyre and Sandy. Brian and Louise Keith of Toronto were home to be with Brian's family, Evan and Marg Keith, for Easter. Robin and Dan Logan are at their Kinloss home again after spending the winter in Kolownia, British Columbia and at Texas. Besides Marilyn and Donald Macln- tyre's own family, they 146d 39 for dinner on Easter Sunday.
