Sarnia couple visit son
Mr. and Mrs. Ford Cunningham of Sar-
nia visited in the village with their son Ray
over the holiday weekend.
The Parents of the Handicapped held
their annual draw in Wingham on Tues-
day, April 14. The winners of the draw

Andy Gibson of Gowanstown; Third -

Visiting With Donna and Garry Sutton on
Friday was Pearl and Lyman Sutton, of
Teeswater. On Sunday, Donna and Garry
and family visited with Gerald and Nancy
Murray and family of Concession 10 of
Kinloss..
It's nice to see the municipal office at the
Town Hall redecorated with a fresh coat of
paint to the walls which has considerably
brightened up the room. Reeve Herb Clark
says Doris Moss of the Auburn area com-
pleted the painting in the office.
Easter theme of Trinity UCS meeting
Trinity's U.C.W. regular monthly
meeting was held at the home of Mrs.
Lorne Hacketts at 8 p.m.
The President Mrs. Blake Alton called
the meeting to order with a verse pertain-
ing to Easter. Mr. Steve Andrew and Mrs.
Jack Cameron were in charge of the devo-
tions. Mrs. Cameron opened the devotions
with a reading entitled "Eternal Thoughts
at Easter Time." A hymn was sung by all.
Mrs. Andrew read the Scripture lesson
from John 20. Mrs. Cameron's meditation
was entitled "Debts will,never get paid."
All sang another hymn. Mrs. Andrew clos-
ed with prayer.
The roll call was answered by 22
members with a donation to the Survival
House in Goderich. Mrs. Warren Zinn was
presented with a Life Membership. Mrs.
Don Hackett made the presentation to
Mrs. Zinn. The Bible Study was given by
Mrs. Fred Phillips on Love and Sacrific.
Mrs. Don Alton gave. the Study Book with
statistics comparing Australia with
Canada. It was decided ,that two quilts
would go to Five Oaks and two to the Sur -

The Trinity UCW is catering to a ban-
quet on May 8. The ladies were reminded
of the Thank Offering on April 26 and ar-
ticles for the rummage sale in Wingham:
Proceeds are for the Survival House in
Goderich are to be in by April 21st.
The President closed the meeting with
the benediction. The hostess and her com-
mittee of Mrs. John Hunter and Mrs. Tom
Helm served a delicious lunch.
