Super Survivors hold meeting
By Tanya Turner
The seeond meeting of the St. Helen's
Super Survivors was held at Lila Rintoul's
on February 26.
This was a "dinner meeting".
Everybody contributed to the meal with an
excellent variety of delicious dishes.
The roll call was answered by all
members. The members discussed how to
make meals which suited the season and
the calorie content of some foods.
They compared the costs of pudding
made homemade, purchasing the dry mix,
and purchasing the ready made to find
which one was the least expensive. The
meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
The third meeting of the St. Helen's
Super Survivors was held at Lila Rintoul's
on March 2.
All members answered the roll call,
"What is one decision you have made
today?"
The members were told to pretend they
had just won $700 and to write down what
they would spend the money on. This exer-
cise proved what the priorities are.
They discussed why they spend their
money on certain items and how the values
affect what they choose to buy.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
