Congratulations to Denise and Grant
Gilchrist on the arrival of their daughter.
The Ripley Old Timers Hockey team 'did
it again! This time they went to Montreal
to play for the World Cup and came home
winning the consolation trophy. The team
won a draw for $10,000 and two of the team
won a draw of $1000 each. From this area
Barry Johnston, Bruce Skillen, Gert de
Jong and Art Stanley played on this team.
Congratulations guys - keep up the good
work!

Trend Setters
hold meeting

The fourth meeting of the Trinity Trent
Setters was held on February 25 at the
home of Mrs. Suzanne Andrew.
Seven members and two leaders
repeated the pledge and answered the
rollcall. This meeting consisted of eight
steps for doing the laundry. The members
were shown how to interpret and read care
labels, sort laundry, pre -treat stains, fill
the washer, rinsing, drying, ironing and
storing laundry.
The meeting ended with snacks
prepared by Robert Ireland.
