Edna MacDonald.

The Devotional part of the meeting was
chaired by Mrs. Eric Hackett assisted by
Mrs. Murray Henderson.
March was chosen as the month of temp-
tations, so many changes take place,
especially in weather conditions.
Mrs. Murray Henderson read an in-
teresting paper and a basket of bright, red
apples placed on the table led the
members' thoughts to how Eve had temp-
ted Adam in the Garden of Eden, the two
greatest temptations being "Satan" and
the "World". Mrs. Henderson read several
passages of Scripture pertaining to the
theme.
Mrs. Eric Hackett very capably in-
troduced the study on the Apostle "Peter",
noted for his courage and bravery, thus
Jesus called him the "Rock".
The Mandate on Indians in Australia
was also discussed, showing our greed af-
fecting them similar to Canada's own
natives.
Prayer and the UCW Benediction closed.
