Mr. and Mrs.. Benninger, having pur-
chased the Wilkins Garage, began moving
in on the weekend. Glenna, Ron, Susie and
Crystal began moving to their home in
Wingham.
Visitors last week with Mr. and Mrs. Vic-
tor Emerson in Bray Lodge were Fraser
McKinnon, Lucknow, Mr. and Mrs.
Russell McGuire, Wingham and Mrs.
Agnes Gaunt, Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Campbell and
Heather of Richmond Hill spent the
weekend with Mrs. Norma Rintoul.
Heather and her mother are spending this
week with her grandmother as Heather is
on holidays from school.
Mrs. Dave Oberholtzer, Julie and Jef-
frey of Waterloo were weekend guests with
Mrs. Norma Rintoul.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Robinson,
Tracey, Kim and Mark of Belgrave were
Sunday visitors with Mrs. Rintoul.
Kevin Beecroft of Wingham is spending
the winter break with Mr. and Mrs. E.W.
Beecroft. •
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beecroft are in
Switzerland to play hockey with the
Wingham Oldtimers.
Miss Karen Beecroft of Kitchener spent
the weekend with her parents Mr. and
Mrs. E.W. Beecroft.
Ken and Len Sinnamon of Wingham
spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E.W.
Beecroft.
Whitechurch WI
Whitechurch Women's Institute met last
Wednesday at the home of . Miss Merle
Wilson with an attendance of 21. Mrs.
Helen Currie was president and Mrs.
Russell McGuire was secretary for Mrs.
Agnes Farrier holidaying in Florida.
The 90th founding of the Women's In-
stitute will be held in North Bay July 6 - 9.
The new preside is Mrs. Margaret
Munro. Mrs. Helen Currie then took
charge of Cancer collecting again this
year. The district directors members
'meeting for Bruce South is March 24 at
12:30 p.m. The motto was given by Mrs.
Myrtle Metcalfe on "education is prepar-
ing for a complete living."
The topic was on the province of Prince
Edward Island by Miss Merle Wilson and
she found it could mean only one thing - a
peaceful and enchanting island.
London man dies in 72nd year
Ronald Sprague
After a short illness, Ronald Sprague of
London died at the St. J6seph's Memorial
ospital in London on March 9 in his 72nd
year.
Mr. Sprague is survived by his wife
Clara, daughter Marlene Taylor of St.
Helens, Carol McRoberts of Chatsworth,
sons Ron and Paul of London, seven grand-
children, seven .great-grandchildren and
sister's Doris and Lucy of London.
The funeral was held on March 11 at
Evans. Funeral Home in London with a
private family service. Final resting place
in Forest Lawn Cemetery London follow-
ing cremation.
