Bill Hunter, the Lucknow Arena Manager and organizer of the long-time Lucknow tradition, says .eight teams from towns similar in population to Lucknow will again be participating in the day -long event. Teams from Ripley ( who'll be sending two teams )., Howick, Brussels, Belgrave, Lucknow Skating Club The Lucknow Figure Skating Club held its club competition on Saturday, February 21. The following is the list of winners for the competition: Preliminary Figure (Inside edge) Rhonda Hogan, Dana Park, Candice Kay, Diane Park, Vanessa Alton, Jacqui Dawson, Maryon Dow, Laura Mulder, Crissy Conley. The tournament will open with Lucknow taking on a Ripley team at 9 a.m. The other games and times are as follows: Teeswater vs. Blyth at 10 a.m.; Belgrave vs Howick at 11 a.m. and Ripley vs. Brussels at 12 noon. The consolation championship will be played at 5:30 p.m. with the championship ame at 7 n.m. holds competition MacGillivray, Maryon Dow and Heather Alton ( tie ), Jodi Hackett and Laura Mulder ( tie), Rita Mulder and Anglea Mulder, Maryon Dow and Kristen Owen, Roxy Bergman and Krista Culbert, Rosilind Jervis and Maribeth Dawson. Canasta Tango (single) Dana Park, Diane Park, Candice Kay, Vanessa Alton, Rhonda Hogan (tie) and Maryon Dow (tie). Absent for the competition were Joy Becker , Caillen Clarke, Denise Hiller and Dana Humphrey. The executive of the club wish to con- gratulate all the skaters on a job well done.
