Lucknow 7 Chesley 1 The Lucknow boys won by a score of 7-1. Scoring for Lucknow was Brad Murray with three goals and two assists, Rod Crich two goals and two assists, Kent Campbell one goal, Jim Sinnett one goal, Charles Murray one assist, David Schuler two assists, Scott Gibson, two assists, Donnie Gammie three assists and Butch. Foran one assist. Lucknow 1 Chesley 1 The second game was played in Chesley on February 20 and in a high-tension game which included a 10 minute overtime period, the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Scoring for Lucknow was Brad Murray assisted by Rod Crich and Charles Murray. Chesley 6 Lucknow 4 The next game in the series was played in Chesley on February 22. The Lucknow boys lost this game 6-4 to Chesley. Scoring for Lucknow was Rod Crich with two goals, Jamie Johnston one goal one assist, Scott Gibson one goal one assist.. Brad Murray and Jim Sinnett each had two assists while Donnie Gammie and Kent Campbell each had one assist. Lucknow 3 Chesley 1 The final game in the series was played on February 23 with Lucknow winning this The Lucknow Bantams have had a highly successful year, taking the WOAA title from Chesley recently .and are now playing in the OMHA playoffs against Wainfleet.. The Lucknow Bantams would like to thank all the fans for supporting the team through the series. It's your backing that helps the boys to play a better game. Wainfleet 13 Lucknow 6 Lucknow started the All -Ontario OMHA quarter -final series with Wainfleet with the first game played on Saturday, February 28 in Lucknow. Wainfleet started the game by taking the lead 5-1 after two periods of play. However, Lucknow came back and tied the game 6-6 to force a 10 -minute overtime period. In the overtime period, Wainfleet took over and the game ended 13-6 in their favor. Scoring for Lucknow was Brad Murray with four goals and one assist, Scott Gib- son one goal, Rod Crich one goal three assists and Kent Campbell one assist. Everyone was sorry to see one of the Wainfleet boys carried off the ice on a stretcher and later taken to hospital by ambulance. Wainfleet 6 Lucknow 1 The Bantams played game two on Sun- day, March 1. Poor refereeing marred this game which kept Lucknow short-handed for most of the contest., The locals were handed their second loss of the series by a score of 6-1. The next game will be played in Lucknow on March 6. For an evening of ex- citement, come out to the game.
