As a result, taxes normally due on March 1st will be due on MARCH 27,1987. All other installments will be due on the regular dates, June 1, Sept. 1 and Nov. 1 B.M. Colin MacLennan of Agincourt and Marlene Huston of Aurora were the host and hostess. Those attending were, Finlay and Margie MacDonald, Marion Huston, Colin MacLennan, Marion MacLennan, Marlene Huston, Susan Reeves of Tampa, Florida, Patsy and Ivan Hawkens of Kincardine, Catherine and Alec Andrews of Lucknow and George, Andre, Julia and Michael MacDonald and David and Jack MacDonald. A very festive time was had by all. And, on Wednesday, Marion Huston left on a two week holiday to Florida. On Saturday, Jim, Cecil and Kae Webster visited in Clinton with Jack, Marion and Lloyd Smith. Others in atten- dance were Paul, Mary, Lisa and Adam Byers of Stratford. Weekend visitors with Rhetta and Marion MacLennan were Florence MacLennan and her friend Shirley of Kitchener. Kae, Jim and Cecil Webster visited with Mrs. Norma Young of Goderich recently. Snowmobile Rally On Saturday, Jim Webster travelled to Bervie to participate in the Bervie_ Bluewater Town and Country Snowmobile Poker Rally. It was the first time the snowmobile club has sponsored such an event and it was very successful. It was an approximately a 45 mile run which took the participants near the villages of Ber- vie, Chepstow, Riversdale and Teeswater. One of the participants who turned out for the rally, interestingly enough, was Wayne Scott, one of Jim's fellow workers at Acorn Kitchens. Mr. Scott is a member of Baden's Sno Surfers Club. This group left Baden Saturday morning at 6:30 p.m. which is a 145 mile jauntto Kincardine on snowmobiles. They returned to Baden on Sunday (except one who's snowmobile broke down) . The Bervie Club is very thankful to all the local businesses who sponsored the - rally. The four top winners were: First - Al Hedley of Kincardine with four queens; Se- cond - Rod Ferrier of Kincardine with four sevens; Third - Dennis Kraft of New Dundee with a full house; Fourth - Carolyn Ernwein of Walkerton with a full house. Approximately 85 took part in the suc- cessful rally. The club is looking forward to an even bigger and better rally next year. Congratulations .to the Kincardine Sno Birds who helped to make it a suc- cessful event. Elizabeth Wilkins of Mount Forest and Ken Wilkins of Ridgetown were home on the weekend with their parents 'Charles and Mayrne Wilkins. On Sunday afternoon, this correspon- dent's windows started rattling for no ap- parent reason. But later it was found there had been a slight earth tremor in the area. Cousin visits with Mel Jones Mrs. Edith Bell visited with her cousin Mel Jones last Wednesday. Happy birthday congratulations to the following people. with February birthdays, Dennis Park, Tim McNee, Keith King, - Brenda and Barb Nivins, Michael Sillib and Tommy Brindley. Joel and Kate Bendig of Goderich stayed with theiruncle and aunt Tim and Wanda Hodges on Sunday and Monday while their parents, Mike and Val Bendig where in Guelph to attend the funeral of Mike's grandfather, Mr. John Bendig. Results of the senior's weekly euchre on Wednesday were.
