were making Valentines and hearts and
making each other warm fuzzies. Friday
was a fun-packed day as they were han-
ding out Valentines, playing games and
having treats.

stories for' Valentine's Day. They have

Grade 2
The Grade 2 class had two special guests
this week. Mr. Johnston spoke on his duties
as the reeve of Kinloss Township and
shared some important facts about Bruce
County. His presentation helped the Grade
2 students with their mapping activities.
Mrs. Eadie brought in her pictures from
her and her husband's recent trip to South
America where they cruised down the
Amazon River. The pictures were most in-
teresting and made the students ap-
preciate how lucky they are 'to live in
Bruce County. The Grade 2's thank their
guests for coming to the school.
• The students hope their parents won't
forget to cash in their "love coupons" from
the Children's on Valentine's Day.
Congratulations to all the children on the
fine stories they wrote. A special thank -
you to Lucas Thacker, Michael Cranston,
Sonia Jones, George Carter and Shelly
Johnston for sharing their stories with the
rest of the school.

on their speeches. They chose five students

Rab=bits"; Vanessa Breckles speaking on "My
Cat, Sam"; Chris Montgomery speaking
on "My trip to Bingeman Park"; Kerrie .

They achieved their goal! The students
