UCW holds
meeting recently
By Wanda Jefferson
The January meeting of the Donnybrook
UCW was held on January 13 at the home
of Lois Chamney with June Robinson and
Eileen Jefferson in charge.
June opened the meeting with the Call to
Worship - the greatest of these is love. A
hymn was also sung. Eileen read the
Meditation, June read the Scripture and
Eileen read a prayer. Another hymn was
sung follwed by June's reading of an arti-
cle on the 25th anniversary of the UCW.
Eileen read some New Year's predic-
tions and customs throughout the world.
The offering was also received.
During the business, the members
discussed the annual meeting in Mitchell,
windows for the church, the booklet of
Donybrook's history, quilts and thank -you
notes.
A hymn was sung and June closed the
meeting, with prayer. Donna Bieman and
Luba Strutton served a delicious lunch.
