Ideal weatherconditions prevailed for the St. Helen's Poker Rally held on Sun- day, February 1. There was a total of 537 pokerhands sold during regstrtion at the St. Helen's WI Hall. The route was approximately 25 miles in length. Cash prizes were won by: First - Mary Lamb of .RR 4 Goderich - $40; Second - Jeff Leitch of RR 2 Goderich - $30; Third - Dave Rodgers of Auburn - $20; Fourth - Lenore Clements of RR 6 Goderich - $10; Fifth - Jack Freeman of Goderich - $5. Check points were set up at Earl Jam- miesons (in charge of Fred Ward), at Harold Errington (checked by the Stapleton sisters), at the Pinery, looked after by Allister and Debbie Nivins.
