Pastor and Mrs. Marvin Christen-
sen visited on Monday with his
mother, Esther Christensen, at the
home of Vivian Parkinson, at Lon-
don.
The Presbyterian Sunday School
Christmas concert was held at the
church on December 8.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Thacker and
family visited on December 8 with
the Ferguson family at London.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burt, of Kin-
cardine, visited with Bessie Maul -
den.
Mrs. John Hamilton, of Clinton
and her son, Kenneth Hamiluin, of
Burlington, visited on Friday with
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Barr.
The Pentecostal Church family
held their Christmas dinner at the
church fellowship room on

hold Meeting
The December meeting of Chal-
mers Women's Missionary Society
was held on December 18 at the
home of Mrs. Archie Purdon, with
dessert served prior to the meeting.
Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw was the
program coordinator and gave the
call to worship on Christmas.
Janet Cook read the scripture
Luke 1:26-35.
Ten ladies answered the rollcall
with their favourite Christmas carol.
The program for the afternoon
was a sing -song, readings, and a
quiz on Christmas. Jean Ross at the
piano entertained with a Christmas
medley.
The minutes and treasurers report
were received.
The January meeting will be held
at the home of Norma Rintoula
Cleaners for the church during
January arc Helen Rintoul -and
Crystal Elliott. ,
