RIME STOPPERS
Crime Stoppers of Grey -Bruce are
.
seeking the public's assistance in
the investigation of a break, enter
and theft which occurred in
Meaford, Ontario. .
The Meaford Police Service
reports that sometime between
Friday afternoon, November 29, and
Saturday afternoon, November 30,
1991, unknown person(s) broke into
a Meaford residence by smashing a,
window. Once inside, the culprit(s)
removed a large number of articles
of great value, and .took only
collector's items, including an orig-
inal oil painting by George McLean
"Red Tailed Hawk." Also removed
were -a number -of guns; including •
13 Winchester rifles from a Centen-
nial collection, one shotgun, and
three handguns. Personal ' effects
such as a Minolta 35 mm camera, a
Toshiba video camera, a Pentax 35
mm camera, a Canon autofocus
camera, Nikon binoculars, Bausch
& Lomb ' binoculars,- a Sony
discman, and mink coats were also
stolen. .
The person(s) involved in this
theft have not been identified as
yet, and total value of property.
taken is estimated to be in excess of
$65,000. Serial numbers or identify-
ing marks are available for most of
the items taken if anyone believes
they have seen any of the ,stolen
goods. •

this or any other case, Crime Stop-
