A joint project by the Lucknow Legion and the Lucknow Lions has
resulted in the swimming pool being renovated to nearly new
conditions. This past summer $17,000 was spent on a new ceiling,
floor, inside partitions, plumbing and painting: The Legion donated
$7500 towards the cause with the Lions picking up the balance. In
1990 the Lions invested $6600 for the cost of a new roof and the
landscaping. Pictured are Joe Van Osch, past president of the Lions,
head of the project; John Pollard, Lions treasurer; Delores Cross and
Jeff Taylor, president andfirst vice respectively for the Legion and
jack Cameron, the Lions' superintendent of painting. (Pat Livingston
