The past weekend went swim-
mingly. - or should we say "lust
ducky' - for three`Iocal members of
the Ducks . Unlimited. no `•

program.The. three yogeen:
were
treated to fun, fellowship . and
conservation a the Provincial
Greenwings Camp held. at " North
Bay`over.the weekend.----'

Camp were' Dan- Wylds of_BA,
Lucknow and Jeff and Brad Phelan
of Goderich, The three were chosen:
from 40 members of the local
Greenwingss program, the youth arra
of Ducks Unlimited, to join• 13-
.other young ' conservation en-
thusiasts at the camp on Lake Nip-
pismg.
"It was fun," said Dan upon his
return from the retreat. "I'd go
again if I had the clue."
Twelve -.year-old Dan (he'll be 13
at the end of the month), says the
local Creenwings group gives him
a valuable Chance to learn more
about nature and .conservation -and

something fun that they'll always

This is the third year of -operation
for 'the area swings. They
currently enjoy some 40 members
between -the, ages of 13 .and 17 and
are„always looking for more.;Aside
,loin, the Greenwings' Camp, the
group organizes at least ons; outing
per. season for the young members.
These outings.may . inelude canoe
trips, days .of.fishing, *and archery
demonstrations:
