Fourteen members of the Kairshea
Women's Institute met at the home
of Maimie Roulston for their
February meeting. Dessert was
served by the hostess and the two
directors, Eva Burt and Mary Lavis.
Mrs. Roulston, vice president,
presided and opened with a poem
Hard Luck. Anne MacDougall
presided as secretary.
The Opening Ode was sung and
the Mary Stewart Collect was
repeated.
The minutes were read and ap-
proved; Wanda Keith gave the
report from the Lions dinner and
Marion MacKinnon gave the
treasurer's report.
Sharon MacDougall read the
scripture.
A card was signed for Jean
Hughes, who -is now a resident at
Pinecrest.
Anne MacDougall. convenor for
Education and Cultural Affairs gave
some interesting articles regarding
the new Ballet Opera House, in
Torontb and a description of the
new terminal at Pearson Inter-
national Airport. She also gave an
article on Valefidne's Day and the
Feast of Hearts which was started
in Great Britain. She then had a
contest on Cupid.

Industries, was in Charge of the
