Anglican Church Women was held
on Thursday afternoon at the home
of Edna and May Boyle. The theme
was Love and Lynda Thacker was
the convenor. The opening hymn
was "The Love of Christ
Constrained,: followed by a time of
PrYor.
The roll call. was a bible verse
containing the word love and each
member told of special ways that
sum, love has been shown to them.
• Kay °Thacker read the minutes of
the previous meeting and a letter
from St. Monica House and from
the Bruce • County 'House for
Women.
Lynda Thacker read the scripture
and Jean Atwell .had two readings -
one On Ash Wednesday and the
other on Valentine's Day before she
began with the Bible Study entitled,
who do you say Christ is and what
is his relationship with you?
This gave much food for thought.
All members took part in the re,ad-
- ings from St. John, Colossians and
Hebrews and the closing question
was, why did Jesus have to die?
We all know that it vias for all of
our sins. ft was a beautiful study,
A Valentine reading and the topic
was given by Lynda Thacker which
brought up many thoughts of our
present day. Jean Atwell, had the
closing prayer and grace.
Following the courtesies refresh -
memo' were served and a social time
was enjoyed. Eack member was
given a lovely Valentine. -
